Not easy to add locations, very difficult to add favorites, difficult to move recents to favorites. Not very intuitive at all. You had better be parked if you want to do much of anything with this app. It navigates fairly well once wrestled into submission, but it's definitely a wrestle.

9/14/17 Updated Review: I can now get routed around certain streets/freeways of mid-trip, if I so choose & I appreciate that. They restored the function of the GPS alerting me if a faster route is available during traffic backups. The function that allows me to add new favorite addresses from the recent places still has not returned and that is a big deal for me. NEGATIVE: A new issue is that sometimes none of my recent or favorite addresses show up until I get my car moving. If I'm not supposed to be fidgeting with my GPS while driving, BY LAW, then what good is it if I can't choose my location until I start moving. I'm not understanding the logic there b/c that ticket would be a hefty moving violation and make insurance go up. A small function makes a big difference. Original review: I've been using this GPS account for well over 10years. I've had it since long before I was a AT&T customer. However, the provider maintaining the GPS service has switched companies a few times and each company has regularly updated the app. There was a sweet spot, 3 or 4 years ago, when features and function was supreme. Unfortunately, every single update since is another step down as far as the features and ease of use. I don't need my GPS to know restaurant ratings or gas prices, especially when it means it less options to get me to where I need to go. I like the options on different routes to my destination, but if I decide that I want to avoid a certain street or find a new route, mid-trip then I should STILL be able to do so. It's one thing if that was never something that could be done, but it was done pretty decently. Instead of improving on those functions, they were both eliminated, while attempts to get me to spend money and making the app more "cutesy" took precedent over the usefulness of the GPS. This continues to be irritating, especially when I pay for the annual subscription every year. The only thing that keeps me coming back are the number of addresses that are saved as favorites and as recent locations. Also, the ability to add recent places is a old function that NEEDS to be restored.

The app is okay but not great. Every time I use this app, at the worst possible time, it wants me to rate it. When I'm trying to get directions and I'm in a hurry, it's the worst time to ask me for a review

It says nothing about in app purchases until you download and open the app. $9.99 a month that’s funny.

It's not a free app They want more money for features that you can get for free on any other service don't bother wasting your time downloading this app

It worked great for 20 minutes then the navigation stopped working as well as the voice. I’ve reset it several times, restarted my phone, etc. It also crashes on OS 11. Waste of time and money.

AT&T has always been a symbol of quality and technical prowess dating back to Bell Labs, but now I am so angry that they are the last to upgrade the compatibility of their apps to new IOS releases by Apple. IOS 11 has been out for sometime now, and there hasn’t been a Navigator update in 10 months. Navigator won’t even launch on my iPhone or iPad with IOS 11.03, and that is not acceptable for an app that costs $10.00 per month and is so critical to daily travel!

I am a long time user of Navigator. I love the feature of touching the top button to repeat the instructions! Some times the system doesn't know about road work & could use updating!
