Does not support Ninja V
DevotedGolfer.tv

This is a joke. The marketing promotes remote control of the Ninja V. It does not work. The support page: atomos.com/atomx does not exist. Yet another product from Atomos released before it was finished. I was once a fan of Atomos products. This is a major test of my brand loyality.

Very useful
What Haveyou

This app works fine if you update your Ninja’s firmware as instructed, go to the Ninja’s Sync Config tab and pair with the app, then activate Remote mode by tapping the remote icon on the Ninja’s screen. If the app doesn’t work, you haven’t done one or more of those things. Also the support URL is atomos.com/support, not /atomx… no idea where the other reviewer got that. Meanwhile… the app lets you do pretty much anything you can do on the Ninja. Also, if your unit stops recording unexpectedly (like an input cable gets yanked out), your phone will vibrate to warn you. Bonus.

Does Not Work!

I have tried my Ninja V+ with two new Atom X sync Modules, installed the 10.72 firmware on the Ninja V+, followed the instructions to the letter, and I cannot achieve a stable Bluetooth connection to my Ninja V + with the AtomRemote app using my iPhone 13 Pro Max, 2021 iPad Pro or my late 2019 Mac Pro. No remote control is possible! I have been in contact with Atomos Support for over one week and even prepared a video showing the problem. At least three other people have experienced the same exact failure that I have as indicated by comments to the YouTube demonstration video that Atomos has posted. Atomos’ response is to send in my NinjaV+ for repair. My Ninja V+ is working perfectly in every respect except for the failure to achieve Bluetooth connection with this app.
