Better than most...

Actually, it might be the pinball app I’ve enjoyed most on iOS. There may only be two tables but they are both well designed. Revenge of the Rob-o-Bot seems to me, at least, to have the feel of a (slightly) more modern table. I can’t quite put my finger on it; maybe it’s the ramp design, maybe the big “plastic” robot, I’m not sure. It’s a fun table, but the one I enjoy the most is... Masks of Glory. It has a more “lo-fi” feel to it. It’s a less cluttered table and has a more classic design. That isn’t to say there are no interactive set pieces- the ring and challenges against the luchadors are great fun. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the feel of the physics. It feels off. The ball almost feels weightless- or at least lighter than a pinball should. It’s not off by much, but it’s noticeable. All in all, it’s an under appreciated gem of a pinball app. It really deserves to be in the top of a relatively crowded genre.

THE BEST CLASSIC PINBALL

I'm Mary

This is the ultimate classic pinball game! Since I downloaded it, I’ve enjoyed it so much that I have gone on to purchase several other game boards from different companies, but I always come back to this one. It has a simple and straightforward (but still challenging) design that has kept me playing for hours. I haven’t had issues with this one suffering performance issues due to hogging system resources, and that allows me several more hours game time on a charge. It doesn’t have the complex graphics such as tiny dinosaurs that run around the table or mini-games that require YouTube to understand. Honestly, I don’t need that to be entertained and am quite happier without them. The slightly grungy, timeworn look of the board make it easy to forget that I are anywhere beside haunting a corner of my favorite curb store with a pocket full of quarters.

2 stars or 5 stars? Hmmm...

I'm Mary

There are two different boards that come with this game, and I have purchased them both. The first board (Masks of Glory) has a wrestling theme, and while it is definitely challenging, I really love it. It is the perfect blend of game play and opportunities to play multi-ball, but it is challenging enough to keep me trying to complete the game. I was so tickled with the first board that I tried then purchased the second one. The second board, The Revenge of the Rob-O-Bot, has AWESOME graphics, lighting, and action. It is also horribly frustrating as I could swear it acts like I am feeding it quarters or something. For those of you who are old enough, remember that one machine in every arcade that everyone avoided because the magnets were turned up too high and it took all of two minutes (if you were lucky) to lose your 50 cents? Combine the exceptionally high lost ball rate (both through a straight center course AND as a result of automatic bumper action that throws them down the side gutters) with a sadly weak and somewhat laggy upper left paddle, and this is exactly what this second board is like. I don’t want a gimme win from any game, especially not pinball, but it would be nice to be able to adjust the robot-themed board down a bit OR take the cool-factor it does have away so I could just count it as a loss and ignore it instead of trying over and over. Definitely get the first one! The second? It wasn’t for me.

I been looking forward to this.

Atomically Correct Pinball

Used to like you

Atomic pinball is a new digital pinball collection that includes a revamped version of revenge of the rob-o-bot and color monkey's new table masks of glory. These pins are both well designed and include amazing production value with its graphics, sound (both music and voice acting), gameplay modes, and rule sets. Also noteworthy is the excellent humor, decent physics and if they implement nudging it's all over for any digital pin that isn't TPA, zen, or zac.

Second worst game of 2015

Math dude 3.14159

I tried playing it on an iPad3, but experienced game lags and freezes. Maybe the developer needs to beta test or never did? BTW - the honors for the worst game of 2015 goes to P.A.C.O.

Best iOS pin!

Great physics, table designs, dot matrix animations.

Love it! Great physics! Great tables!

Multi Balled Flipper Baby

Pinball FX tends to be too bouncy for me. But this one is spot on. I can hold a flipper to trap the ball. Then aim for ramps, loops, etc. The missions remind me of Medieval Madness and Stern's Star Trek (2013). The only bummer is the alleys. I wish there was a bump or nudge to save the ball if it was about to drain down the side alley. But overall this is the best pinball I have played on iOS.

Good looking simple interface

chubbypillow

One of the major reasons why ive invested in this game is because it has a clean uncluttered interface unlike the other pinball games in the appstore. Other reasons include amazing arcade-like pinball gameplay. Plus the two pinball tables that they have right now are very well done and by that i also mean designed. Good sound effects and music too. Needs more camera angles to be the perfect app. Discovered some bugs where i had two balls and when i lost one it counted as a loss so it went straight to game (ball) two.

Good Fun!

These two games are good pinball fun. The graphics are excellent, the music is awesome, the themes are very humorous and the challenges are engaging. I like that it is light and colorful. The game play is rather fast, like the table is highly tilted, but the play field is pretty small so the angles are not too tough to respond to. I think the physics are pretty good. It is like an old game that has been ratchet up on the tilt. A commendable new entry into the already full mobile pinball app world.
