This is just a wonderful program, might not be as pretty as some of the others but it’s layout is crisp and clean and FREE. One of my first goto astronomy apps everyday
What a delightful little gateway to astronomy and geometry. I find it just all kinds of fun to poke around to different times and places, maybe I’m weird. This is the only app on my phone that is both truly free and that I open regularly.
Under IOS 13, I can barely zoom in or out. When I tap on a planet, it has to think about it and decide if it wants to show me information about it. The red fonts are hard on the eyes. The last update was 4 years ago, and I suspect that the latest iOS versions are causing some of these problems.
Extremely poor performance on latest iOS. Hasn’t been updated in over 4 years, needs to be removed from app store.
please make sure this is compatible w ios updates! Love This!!! all the info in my hand!
I am learning to use an actual functional astrolabe, and this app has been extremely useful in my studies. Simply having the known altitude of the sun at my location allows me easy comparisons to my manual readings and helps me adjust/correct my mistakes. And it’s free?! Almost too good to be true.
Simple interface but a comprehensive tool. Probably one of the best free apps out there.
