Even if the ui is a bit different, it's not a bad app. Other reviews seem to be pretty picky for free. Just tap an edge to move the view.
The map does not pan (even though it says so). You have no idea what you are looking at. No coordinate. No compass direction. It is nothing more than a simple map pulled from Google Sky, and 2 big Google Ads sticking in your face.
If u like looking at a pic of stars and planets then u would like this app but me I don't like It I thot is was a map of the night sky but it's not.............DONT DOWNLOAD WASTE OF MEMORY AND TIME:-(
Google Sky may be okay on a desktop computer with a fast WiFi connection, but with a bad interface on an iPod, forget it.
I figured I'd give this app a chance. I have an Evo (droid) with Google Sky installed and it is the coolest app I've seen so far. I figured this would be the closest I'd get on an apple device. I installed it, realized the other reviews were spot on, and uninstalled it. It is a worthless app. It has potential, but just does not work. Don't waste your time.
