Great characters & personality in a common format

The game mechanics are a really common resource gathering platform with some combat and PVP battles thrown in. As such, things can get repetitive. The rich illustrations and humor keep things fun as you level up and keep those pesky Romans at bay.

Like the game, needs a few adjustments

I loved these comics as a kid. I was thrilled to see the game on iOS. The game is good, overall, faithful to the original text themes, but the only issue is the energy for the characters goes really fast, and if you've already used all of your helmets for food in the market, hunted, fished and farmed, and there just isn't enough food for you and your villagers, you close the game Nd come back tomorrow, when the food stockpile hits again. There's no ads frequently for earning more food, so that option is out. Do I keep playing? Yes, but I find this situation irritating. I wish it would get fixed, as it's a serious design flaw, imo Update...the game is stuck in some weird way and players keep losing their weapons, their resources...my whole guild is talking about quitting. Apparently the creators of the game don't really care about the players. Figure we are all expendable and they can get more.
