Good but not perfect

anthnyalxndr

Huge fan of the app overall and they seem to act pretty quickly on user feedback. Things I wish the app had: - Project-like Overview pages on the task level. Tasks often end up acting like projects to keep the structure of work more digestible. - Attachable links to tasks - A more intuitive repeating task / project workflow. For me, it’s just not there yet.

Not the worse far from the best

Have been using Asana for over a year now all the while hoping they would add a way to download attachments as a collective from tasks so you don’t have to open and then download each one separately but I guess not… not very efficient and can’t even upload entire client files/folders have to upload each attachment on its own or only as a zip folder hopefully it gets better and can actually help some of us maintain efficiency as that’s is one of the most important aspects of running a business

Don’t Count on support

Bill Stephenson

The company doesn’t allow staff to help you buy the correct package, yet they want you to bet your company on them. SillyCon Valley at its finest. Look elsewhere. There are other companies out there which what a understand partnership means.

Pretty good

The web app is much better than the iOS app. iOS app has some significant bugs. Performance is laggy as well.

What is up with the new colors???? Why fix what is not broken?

Gabneg

I love this app and love it so much but I HATE the new color format. The active project task colors are as faded as completed task colors on my task calendar and it causes such confusion! Please take away these pastel light colors and bring back the vivid colors like before!!!

App is nice there is no support

If you like bots and automated responses this is for you

HORRIBLE clients of people who want to use this app

Meghan Fain

If people want to use asana to manage their work, great for them. What is awful about it is it forces their clients to use asana to communicate through asanas messages. I don’t want to install an app. I don’t want to click a link on my email to see what someone wrote me. I want to be able to search my own emails if I need to find something in our thread. I don’t want to use asana, but since the company I’m working with does, I have to go through the hassle. Asana needs to send messages to others as normal emails or something to stop frustrating others who don’t want to use their system. My whole office is beyond annoyed to the point we don’t want to be the one to work with the clients who use asana. If you are thinking of using asana for your own business management, please don’t use their messaging and task system with others. It’s seriously frustrating for others working with you.

Game Changer

I don’t usually review apps but Asana has been wonderful for me. It was introduced to me through my work and I honestly have no idea how people can effectively stay on top of tasks and coordinate things with their teams without something like this.

Good app, weak tech support

KoKo3000

There is no human contact. It’s scary with all company info and no way to call anyone or chat with a human.

weak design

Robin Takami

this app bombards you with email notifications alongside its own app push notifications and it’s either very complicated or simply not possible to manage notification preferences. plenty of other design choices are not user friendly, like text boxes ending thumbnails with ellipses (“…”) with no way of reading the function of the button unless you click on it. I’m sure there’s a better app for this with better UX.
