Just Terrible

ZGorowski

The web interface is absolutely perfect, but this mobile app is awful. I can't update an entire project's status, and if I want to look at a history of its statuses I have to view them as conversations. On top of the lack of basic core functionality, this app has extremely poor user flow design. The whole thing is basically a series of tables, embedded in navigation controllers, wrapped in a tab bar controller. It's basic to say the least. It's good to see a fairly native UI, but at least review and test user flows before publishing to the store. If the Asana dev/design team needs help, I'd be happy to step up. If not me, at least hire someone who has more experience designing/developing apps than your current team members. It may be harsh, but it's true. If Asana wants to make in mobile, they need better designers and/or developers.

Doing everything I need it to do

This is now my go to app for all my projects. Fantastic!

Good enough for mobile!

Twilligon

This app has most of the basic functionality I need - enough to update progress and keep tabs on what's coming up. Only thing I'd like would be a better task organization - sorting by projects instead of a list of all tasks would keep it neat and tidy.

Poor design and usability

Baseballnut1977

Really disappointed in this app. The web app is very good, but this is a mess. Limited functionality. Not easy to understand for my users. Asana - it is 2016...you can do better.

Terrible iPad Experience

Escamaya

I'm getting used to the web interface and really liking the workflow. However, this app is nowhere near the level of usability as the web interface. It's true, most actions can be completed (creating tasks, updating projects, creating conversations), hence the 2nd star. I think using it on the phone I wouldn't expect more, but the iPad screen is greatly wasted. I hope it gets improved in the near future, and then I can hopefully give it a 5-star review.

Hoping for better

I can't get to my sub tasks AT ALL using the app. The website is awesome, but the app is very...basic. Also, why aren't their notifications..seems I only get notified thru my email. Thankfully Gmail does have notifications. I tried to market this app to my boyfriend's new company in Germany. They thought I was nuts.

Error message when I try to create a task

Jilfer

I have yet to be able to create a task. It keeps saying error. And it also has been taking a long time to load existing tasks.

Mobile App needs improvement

The web version is great; however, the mobile version is missing key functionality that the web version offers.

Eh. It's okay.

To be honest, the app isn't that bad. It's just missing a lot of the controls that the website gives. I mostly only use it to see what tasks I have at the moment and similar small uses. I use the website for everything else. Though, I would at least like a delete button for things in the app. Looking forward to an update soon.
