Clever use of AR!

Master of None

I find most AR apps to be rather gimmicky but this game is surprisingly clever. It will only get better as ARKit evolves. Can’t wait to see how this game develops!

Love it. But

Is there a way to get coins without having to buy them in the store?

Great game but...

Jaws Isawesome

I just bought this game...and I love it. The only tiny problem is the doorways and windows are black, unlike the videos that show houses in the doorways and windows. Also, please update the AR a little to make it a little more stable. Thanks and again great game really fun! P.S: can’t wait to see how you use the new features on ARkit 1.5 to better this game?

HELP PLEASE

J-Lui

It’s literally not letting me do anything. I pick a difficulty and it loads but it stays on the loading screen and is constantly glitching. I press “ok” and nothing. I select “reset” and nothing. All it does is stay on the loading screen. Its Frustrating because I don’t know why it’s doing this. This is the first phone game I have actually bought and spent money on and it’s the first to do anything like this. Please help me

Underdog1966

When I choose a difficulty it it loads but when it is done loading and it tells me what to it stays on the loading screen

Game not functioning properly

Crazy face123

To cut to the chase, the game functions normally up until you have to build the barricades. After that point, the screen never moves past the loading screen, the dialogue boxes are glitchy, and the reset button doesn’t work properly. On easy difficulty, I can build the door, but no matter where I go, I get a message asking me to build the window on another wall. I have been unable to play the actual game on either difficulty.

Small couple of fixes

Needs a few. Bullet detection for sure is one of them. I’ll be shooting one in the head at close range and it will just go inside the zombie but not hurt them or tell me it was a headshot. Wastes ammo and u get hit and lose life. Another thing is floor detection needs a little work. The tv, door that u set up at the start of the match and sometimes zombies float. Other then that pretty cool game

Phenomenal AR game with potential!

In this post, I’ll be reviewing a game by Grisly Manor Studios called ARZombi. I wanted to review this game like two weeks ago, but due to technical problems, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to. It’s among the first ARKit games that I wanted to play and review and I am happy that I reached to the point that I can finally share this review with you guys. One more important thing: according to the iTunes page of the game, you need to be at least 17 years old to download this app, just so you know. OK, let’s move on to the review. What is ARZombi? ARZombi is an apocalyptic wave-based FPS Survival game developed using Apple’s ARKit technology. In ARZombi you need to defend your home against waves of zombies trying to invade your home. You can play the game in any room of your house, but in my experience, it’s better to play the game in a large room. ARZombi Gameplay When the game starts, the player will be asked to position a door and three windows in the room, each one on one of the four walls of the room. Even if you don’t have four walls, you can still position them anywhere in space as long as they are facing each other in pairs from all the four directions. Once the door and windows are all set, the first wave of zombies will began. Is ARZombi Fun to Play? Although I think that ARZombie still needs to go through several optimizations in order to be more immersive, it ‘s a really fun game once you get through the initial hurdles. I do think it can be a problem for people trying the game for the first time through. Conclusion I am glad that I got to the point that I was able to give you a more accurate and in-depth review. As you can clearly tell from my review, I do think that ARZombi can be improved in many ways. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the time I had with the game. This is a VR-like room-scale gameplay experience in augmented reality.
