It's a cool concept, but out of the probably twenty things I told it, it only understood about four, and most of those it just said "I got it" and didn't do anything else. You have to wait a while before getting a response, which sort of makes it annoying to use. However, the backgrounds are nice.
Silo is a work in progress. Give it time to develop
Here's the thing about AI....
The idea behind the app is good, given time and proper support it will get better. So, here's the thing… This app is not Samantha, from Her. Conversational AI is not readily available yet for consumers. This app is an attempt/start, that will only get better with time and the developers effort, support and planning. If I had to outline some tips for the developer, allow your app to be personalized by the user. •Give the user the option to give Silo is own name, personality, sex etc. draw some inspiration from the movie. •Allow Silo access to your contact information so it can at least try to build a basic user profile based on relational info in my contacts. I have a lot of relationships linked in my contacts that Siri understands. Siri knows who my relations are, their phone numbers, addresses, info, etc. •Note the remembering, learning feature is cool, but extremely limited. But it's a start. Make it conversational where it steps a user through asking you questions, remembering the details later. •The user interface need work and lots of polish. I'm on a 7 plus and sometimes boxes prompting me for info are half off the screen. You can't tap on them. This UI Needs a much better layout. It's not inviting, exciting or nice looking. •I never got the microphone feature to work. I ended up typing in all my questions. Overall this app is a great idea. It's a good start. I hope the developer makes note of some of this review for a much better 2.0 version. AI is the future of technology not even realized yet. It just needs the right ideas backing the attempts at bringing it to market. Someone will someday crack the code to make it a reality.

Fun to mess around with but I already discovered something she can’t do, remember who I am when I ask certain questions. Example; I tell her that I am andrew. I say Andrew has three apples. I say how many apples do I have. She cannot answer this correctly
