This app was made to solve a problem I had. I used to sit in traffic for two hours each day, so to make use of my time I would read my Pocket articles while driving. Since reading and driving is a bit dangerous, I decided to build this app so that my phone could read to me instead.

Article Reader is fully integrated with the Pocket system. This means that all updates and changes you make from your Pocket App or this Article Reader App will be in sync. (Users must log in with their pocket account for this feature. Logging as "Guest User" will only show a default list of articles)

Not syncing

Not syncing with Pocket as it should, or as announced. Great idea but have not had the chance to actually use it cause the article I want yo read/hear is not being synced. :/

When the app works, it does so exactly as advertised. It even plays a little message to denote the end of an article. However, I only got the app to work once. Now, it crashes every time I tap an article. Also, there is no option to delete previously read items. I like this app and I hope it is fixed soon.

I had the same exact problem as the author of this app. I had all kinds of things saved to pocket but couldn't read any of it safely as I sat in hours of traffic on my way home every day. This is the answer! Thank you thank you!!

What's the point of this app when Siri can do it for you with out an app. Just turn on speak selection, and highlight everything and tap speak. The only reason I got this app is because I thought I could get articles from flipboard , and then put them on this. Because if you use flipboard then you know that Siri can't read everything.

I have read review but still download the app. I was wrong, I agreed with other user that it is really frustrating because there is no information what so ever on how to move articles into the app. It's like now go figure...please update your app proper before adding to App Store Deleting now and will comeback later when it gets updated. It could have done better as its good idea though who spend lot of time on road.

I've never heard of this app until I came across it in an internet article. This is a game changer! This helps me get through almost all my articles waiting to be read on my Pocket app. Awesome combination. Thanks for making this!
