A Bad A** Game To Play

The Only Game Worth My Time To Write A Review. Very Fun To Play I Even Got My Girlfriend (Yes That’s Right My Very Hot Girl Friend Plays) Hooked On Art Of War. Everything About Tide Of War Is Awesome.
The updates and random nerfs kill it

You invest in a team and they keep nerfing off and on. This destroys strategy. I stopped subscribing because of this bs.

Amazing gameplay. Very addictive. At this point I am pretty invested into my progress as a player in this, and I’ve got to say, I was a bit disappointed to see that the relatively new “Hailstorm” character on the Terran army had its abilities changed. The “burning fire” left behind after its barrage of missiles is no longer there! An update apparently removed the ability, which I have an issue with, considering I saved my coins for MONTHS so I could buy this character, specifically so I could use this feature. I can imagine that there are many other fellow players finding themselves in this predicament as well. It is unfair to change the functions of in-app purchases after the user has purchased them. To me, the “Hailstorm” character, which I saved so much to obtain, is now nearly useless. Please consider changing its abilities back to its original function, and consider this potential issue for future character releases. Otherwise, great game.

I was thinking of 4, but overall this game is great. You can choose from 3 races each game. In the beginning you don’t have very strong units unlocked yet but getting decent units doesn’t take long if you invest in one race only. As the game gets older more new units come out. Sometimes they are needed to be relevant in higher levels of play but not always. If you stick with the game for a month or two you will easily have every unit that’s relevant unlocked and be able to compete. The matchmaking system for ranked (and casual) is slightly flawed but equals out eventually. My biggest pros and cons are; Pro - easy to play, easy to learn the newest strategies, fast and short gameplay that is highly satisfying, easy to keep up once you catch up from being a new player. Constant updates. Great customer support. Beautiful skins if you’re able to drop a few $. Subscriber monthly benefits are cheap and amazing! Cons - Can feel overwhelming and confusing if you don’t understand each race/unit and/or invest in one race only early on. Some events give clear advantages to people who will pay, although the benefits are minimal, mostly cosmetics(skins)- There is no true pay to win here. Hopefully this is helpful to someone. I highly recommend this game!
Love it, but...

Love the game, but don’t get why you get penalized for playing too long.. my character is ‘exhausted’ so I can’t make any coinage with it unless I wait for 2days.. How is that encouraging regular everyday play?

There are some drawbacks. One of which is there is always something going on to collect some sort of tokens and there seems to be like 30 different types of currency. Lay off with the 50 changing daily events and make things a little less complicated in general. The other peeve I have is this is almost a bait and switch. The pictures and gameplay are not what you are going to actually see. Don’t enhance your gameplay footage, that’s just gay. Overall the game isn’t bad.
