This will be quick. First I’ve only played through the tutorial and a couple battles. Second I’ve been playing CnC rivals since launch. So I’ve been looking for games like rivals and have found nothing really until art of war and the fact that it has a 4.8 rating over Rivals rating of 4.6, as well as the amazing looking vids and pics, suggested it was an equal or better game then rivals. From what I can tell it’s not. Understand that my review is based on finding a game like rivals and I’m not going into heavy detail cause I haven’t played enough and likely won’t. I just didn’t like how it played. I don’t like having so many units were you have to touch and slide to grab units or the double tap to pick up like units and battles are so chaotic and the boards are to big, so big you have to scroll the screen around to see everything. This was great with games like Starcraft or whatever but the way rivals has a fighting arena that is visible without scrolling around makes it better in my opinion and the units are simple tap to select and tap on the destination. Plus there’s less units, but kinda not less because a lot of the units are groups of 4 that only need one tap and they stay together but have individual health bars for each unit. I think the main thing is on rivals the matches are 3-4 mins of non stop action. Quick and fun. It’s possible I may could give aow more time and learn to enjoy it but I doubt it. First impressions are important for a reason I guess.

This is probably one of the best games. Personally I like just collecting as many supply crates at the beginning then rain down on my opponents with infantry. The ai’s are ok they could have a little fix with how strong they are but otherwise upgrading is fine, multiple upgrades for each unit, and some freakin awesome tanks man. Also the strategic idea of the overall game is enjoyable and a pretty smart idea. Best strategy game out there. Keep up the good work developers.

This game has a good storyline, excellent music, is content rich, Does not orient to a “pay to play” game, I think it’s overall the best rts game besides Nobleman

This is an excellent game possibly the best strategy I’ve played on mobile. The graphics are great. The touch controls and grouping are fantastic. The camera rotation is also a good touch. It has a great pvp mode which adds a little more of a challenge when the campaign gets slow and you don’t have enough stars. I like the progression throughout the game where you acquire new units upgrades and building as you fight through the campaign. The one thing that I personally would like to see added are a custom battle mode where there aren’t limits to unit amounts or building restrictions. If this already exists please let me know how. I would also think an offline skirmish against an ai not would be a good touch. Thank you so much for bringing this game to us. It really is amazing what you’ve done with it.
