In a small pond with a population of frogs that is constantly growing, the fight for territory and the best possible location is always, a battle.
Army Of Frogs is an excitingly, fun board game by the award winning games designer, John Yianni. The game is for 2-4 players (human or AI) with each player in control of a group of 10 frogs, which connect to the other player’s frogs to form an island.
The shape and size of the island is constantly changing as players add and jump their frogs about in an attempt to rally them into one large group to win the game. The player’s frogs are also introduced to the island by the other players, who will most definitely add them in difficult locations and use them to block the movements of the other frogs: so winning is not as simple as it may first appear.

Big daddy's creations last game, the wonderful Neuroshima Hex, was an instant b for me as a fan of the game. I'd never played Army Of Frogs before, but I knew i liked Hive which was another board game by the same author. This version is amazing. The graphics make it so playful, and the game enforces the rules in a way which makes it seem very natural. My only complaint so far is that there aren't notifications for online games. Other than that this sets a new standard for abstract strategy games. Good job guys!

I love neuroshima hex so I bought this game to support creators. It's fun. NH is better. Once you play a few games you can start "seeing" the moves to stifle opponent frogs and connect your frog army. It's tough at first, though.

Hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, but it always crashes when I reach 9/10 in score. Would otherwise be a 5 star game for me.

Rules not very clear

Rules are explained, but they would be much better with animated small (in dimensions) video clips, to show how the frogs can move. This would let people understand them better and quicker. I like the possibility of muting the game sound to hear music from your iPod. Nice game/time killer. Can't say anything about the crashes, as I haven't used it a lot of times to verify that (some people say it crashes). Ever since I upgraded to iOS 5.2, almost every game (that used to be rock-solid), is now crashing! I think there is a bug in the iOS itself rather than the single applications. I give it 3 stars for the lack of video clips.
