Arithmetic Invaders Applications are designed as unique iPhone and iPad applications that both educate and entertain.
Intuitive table structure is used to present the list of space missions. Each mission displays a title, best score, and some basic information of the planet you are expected to save.
Unlock each level to play it. To do that, complete each mission in the given order. A user is allowed three incorrect hits. The mission length can be chosen: 2, 3 or 5 minutes. Completion of the last mission brings the user the highest rank – DEFENDER OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM.
Throughout the game the user is expected to solve the arithmetic problem (math fact) displayed on the invader ships. In order to score, the user is expected to connect the number printed on the laser gun with the result of the corresponding mathematical problem.
I like that it presents math in a way that kids can have fun learning. Please change the narration as it can be difficult to understand at times. Narration sounds cool, but needs to be a little easier to understand. We love @Reks apps!
This is a fun app the kids think is just "a game" yet working on math! Wish they didn't have to complete stages before trying the next...took a bit of "back work" to get to the point we needed....
I like the setting for the app... Like a video game. One thing I would suggest is the pages between the levels have way too many words in them. Either take them off, because the beginning levels are for kindergarten level or have them be read aloud. Otherwise cool app. My boys will definitely love it.
Like the way it provides multiple opportunities for practice, and provides facts about the planets! Voice was at times harder to understand, but very easy to learn how to play!
This math app is awesome! I know my students will love using it to practice math facts. Thank you Smart Apps for Kids for sharing this app with me and my students.
I had fun playing this app. The graphics were average. The voice was fantastic. The speed was just right, fast enough to cause a little anxiety, but not so fast you would lose. Definitely a game I will recommend for our elementary school iPad lab.
