Archibald's Adventures offers gameplay mixed of action and puzzle elements with gradually rising complexity. The player starts as a boy on skateboard, but soon he will roll in robotic vehicle capable of riding on walls and ceilings, fly on jet device or remotely control mysterious floating bubble able to switch distant mechanism or transport objects in many tricky puzzles.

The puzzles are a lot of fun! There are easy and difficult challenges. I have had to watch the video help a couple of times. The design is phenomenal, and overall the game is one of the best on the app store.
Fun but frustrating

In theory this is a great game. Challenging and entertaining. But for one fatal flaw....the controls. When the level is all about finger dexterity and not using your brain I loose interest and go on to the next level. As is, it's 3 stars, fix the controls or leave off the levels that are strickly about speed and luck and it's a five star game.

Well worth every penny. Some levels will make you want to scream but you can beat them. The harder levels are mostly about timing. The controls could be better but I think that this is part of what makes the game so challenging. And Firion....you can beat that bonus level. Use your pink bubble directly in front of you and move (slowly) along. The bullets hit the bubble not you. Easy as can be. You withheld 5 stars because of that?? Come on man, thats your inability to complete (not the design).

pros: this is a huge game, tons of levels and with each update, more get added! cons: controls can be flaky at times. other: thinking is the key to winning. pro tip: use your bubble as a sheild on that 1st bonus stage in the great cleanup.

I love the graphics and interactive quality if the game. Incredibly creative. The dev also keeps adding new sets of levels. Totally worth it.

By far the best game in the app store. I would pay $10 for an arch 2 with 100 or so new levels.

This game is too much fun!!! It's challenging in some parts to figure out what to do; yet very interesting to find out that it was just a few steps to victory. I like this game a lot!! And would recommend it to anyone that loves puzzles, and a challenge!!! 5 ***** stars!!!!!
Can be fustrating and for the wrong reasons

The puzzle elements are excellent but some stages tend to be action intensive which wouldn't be a bad thing except the controls are an exercise in fustration and makes some stages more difficult than they should be. Part of the reason (and major part of my gripe) is the continued reliance on a push-button control rather than the analogue-stick style used in most of the better iPhone action games. The other reason is the physics which play a huge role in how some puzzles play out so this is highly debatable. I've cleared the main stories but I've given up on a few of the extra stages due to the action elements as they require a rapid sequence of precision timing and control.

This is the best platformer type game on the iPhone. Great graphics, good storyline, flawless controls. Highly reccomended
