Great Concept, Poor Execution

I wanted to like this game because it has so much potential, but it's full of flaws. Enemy ships are nigh indestructible--with the ship's pitiful weapons, you have to empty several torpedo batteries to take them out. I'd like to see this ship square off against the Enterprise...POOF! Too much button mashing, especially when the controls are so awful. Using the accelerometer for movement would free up the touch screen for weapons targeting. Commands are buried in a menu, which keeps the screen clean but makes busy work of lowering shields to go to warp drive (Really? How banal can you get?) Is there any story after the first transmission? Any way to upgrade the ship? I'll check back at version 2.0.

Potential, but frustrating

Seriously, a good attempt, but someone really needs to rethink the user interface. Being able to move and shoot and target things is very frustrating. The game throws you in quickly with no build up or training period; before you know it you'll be attacked by several ships without even knowing how to do anything. Good idea to put the phasers and torpedoes recharge lights right above the buttons; right where your finger will be so you can't see them. Work on the interface, and controls and I think the game has great potential.

If the game was mulitplayer with coop and fighting each other it would be the best game i like the current controls

It need some work I beat it over 15 times and now can beat it in 7min or less. The boss is to easy. Update the game to 2.0 plz

Awesome Game

Amazing game. So addicting. It's especially fun if you go into battle with your sheilds down (at least, until hull integrety is below 15%).

Really a great game. This is the first review I have done out of the 80 apps I have. I do agree that the missions get redundant but you really have full control over your ship. You can allocate energy to shield weapons etc...it is a lot of fun. Only one gripe THE SHIP IS UGLY. That is all. It is better than any other homage to the old pc trek games

Enjoyed this game immensely! Kinda Star Trek style. Goal is basically to destroy 50 enemy ships of three types. Defend Starbases and outposts. I'm patiently waiting for a sequel!!!! Maybe having the capacity to do endless mode with many upgrades to your ships would be very good!

I love this game. It's better than the games you have to use your phones tilt to play I like just taping the screen. You should give the ship armer we can deploy as well but don't make it invincible and a better challenging boss. I can't wait for a second one I hope you make another.

I absolutely love this game, I'm a big Trekkie and this is a lot like a star trek game. But I think it would be pretty cool if you either have it to where you can upgrade your ship, buy new new ones, have a beaming option to save people off of a starbase or outpost if you cannot save them. Plus I think it would be pretty cool if you could abandon ship; with escape pods, so you can keep your ship, I also love the idea of an endless mode! Well I hope that you either update it or make a sequel! AND KEEP IT CLOSE TO STAR TREK IT MAKES IT FUNNER!
