it's all that and more except the Mac version appears to be sharper/crisper....should be retuned for iPad's retina display, do that and I will definitely give you SEVEN stars!!! ??

Bought this to give my cat somethin to look at when she's bored... not something she'll stop in her tracks and watch but if she's laying down and I put it in front of her, her eyes will dart back and forth watching the fish and she'll purr happily. The aquariums are pretty with amazing variety... It is a group of videos so don't anticipate a large amount of control over the activity. If you enjoy going to the aquarium, you'll enjoy this app. They must read the reviews because at the time I purchased the app, it had sounds. Not sure what sounds you are looking for through a 6 inch piece of glass, but they gave some to you crazy kids anyways.

Avery nice app, especially since you don't have to feed the fish or clean the tank... Like the fact you can stream music from iTunes lib. Sharks aren't as scary on this scale, but a nice touch. Would be nice if a freshwater scene was added as well. Keep up the good work!

Don't waste your money. The graphics on this app are terrible and insult especially if you have an iPad 3! I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about Unless they are all fake by the makers, just to sell the app. Oh and one more thing this app will only review the shark tank. Bottom line, it's a very ugly screensaver.
Clearly a Winner!

This is undoubtedly one of the best "aquarium" apps I've seen. Both versions run extremely well on my 27-inch iMac, iPad3, and iPhone 4. If you like realism, you'll like this app. You can assign included sound effects like bubbles OR you can assign your own music from your music library. Sweet! I only hope that more scenes are made available. Well worth the few shekels!
Sloppy Apple TV integration

I wish this application integrated better with Apple TV. It is a great use of the HD. However, the application itself does not,have this option. When I choose the mirror option for Apple TV, the video only shows in a square in the middle of the screen, instead of full screen. And it keeps pausing and stoping.
