Great app but nonexistent customer support

Star.Angel

I love this app and how it allows me to keep right on track with my tank maintenance, test results, livestock, budget etc. The only complaint I have is the lack of customer support. I decided to pay for the yearly membership so I could have access to my task like across multiple devices. However, when I did created the account to do this, my past years worth of data for my two tanks was wiped. I messaged support on two separate occasions about this and did not receive a single response. I wish I had gotten some sort of warning that all of my tank data was going to disappear upon paying for a subscription.

Great app.

This app is great with the database of fish and coral, and with helping me remember when to complete tasks. I just wish it was visually more appealing.

I love it

Scippie

Very helpful, easy to use and really helps me keep track of 4 tanks

I love it, I would just a few things

I wish there were prebuilt “suggested” maintenance routines so that I didn’t have to manually add every little thing. I also think the process of “adding new activities” is pretty complicated. I wish I could just easily see my task and say “performed task” somewhere, instead of having to click through a bunch of menus. I also wish you had the ability to add multiple parameter inputs per day. Sometimes if I perform a water change, I will test my levels before and after, and I have to only include one of those two levels. The last thing is that I don’t like when you run the analytics, if you include things like water changes or any tasks, the bar completely covers the days Parameters.

Not happy

Once you move a fish from database to the wishlist or one of your aquariums it no longer tells you any info or if it’s compatible with your other fish also it does not say if you have already added something to your wish list and I’ve tried reaching out to the developer few times with no response but at your own risk will update my rating once fixed

Terrible Customer Service

Mlynch0224

Used this app for the last 3 years and it has worked great. However, I have an issue with my password and cannot access my account. I emailed customer support as it is the only contact option and I have only received two automated responses saying they received my request. It has been well over a week and I have not received a response to either email.

No reply to support questions in months

Ramón Manuel

I own the app and the live subscription. I have not gotten replies to support questions in months. Only automated ticket numbers. In particular, I want to know how do I duplicate my existing tank, to avoid re-entering the information?

Shady startup procedure

At the moment of this review, I’m frustrated that when I created an account I was forced through a subscription process. I wasn’t given any choice to back out upon logging in and creating an account for the first time. It made me stop what I was doing, after purchasing an app for $10, and ask myself what did I just sign up for? Be careful here, you can sign up for a yearly subscription for an additional $9.99 annual fee and not realize this if you’re moving fast. Right now my opinion is shady. We’ll see if this changes. Hopefully, I’m Not charged an in-app purchase for an absolute need type of feature.

I love this app, it’s perfect!!

This is an awesome and incredible app, it’s perfect!! I’ve been using this app daily for the past 6 months and it does everything I could ever want an aquarium management app to do! It’s very well designed and engineered. Very robust and capable. Tons of features. I couldn’t imagine keeping fish without this app, serious. I honestly can’t think of anyway they could improve this app. It does everything I want it to plus more. Very powerful yet easy to learn and use. Thank you so much for this app!!

Decent, but could easily become great

Overall, this is a decent app if you’re looking for a way to track water parameters and keep track of livestock per tank. I’m disappointed by the limited info that is available for the various species of fish, inverts, corals, etc. When I bought this app I was hoping it would eliminate the need to constantly look up parameters and basic info about various species I was considering adding. Alas, it does not. I’d even settle for a LiveAquaria or Wikipedia link on each species’ page, but generally there’s little more than a picture and a somewhat dubious compatibility listing based on the other species you’ve listed in your tank. It actually includes deceased organisms in the compatibility check as well, though this is only a minor annoyance for the most part. It’s a decent tracking app for someone who already knows about their livestock or has alternate sources of info when performing research.
