I love this app, it is very easy to use, you can use it in different languages, but what interests me are the different tips it gives and what happens remembering to drink water.

I love this app. If not for it I would not drink anything. I don’t get thirsty so it is a struggle to get the liquids I need daily. With this app I am able to track my intake. It is like a challenge and that to me is a motivator to get me to drink water.

My husband shared this app and I said I don’t need it, because I drink a lot of water but he encourages me. I did download the apps and it works really good. I thought I’m drinking enough water? But I was wrong, thanks for the Aqualert Water. It was an awesome app. And I already shared to some of my friends. And they love it! ??

I purchased the pro version and never got the upgrade. I emailed them about it and never got a response. I really liked the app but the ads are really annoying and it is really bothersome that I paid for something I never got.

WAY too many ads

I realize that companies need to make money somehow, but this app has TWO banner ads plastered constantly across the top and bottom of the screen to the point that I couldn’t figure out how to exit the settings for the app beyond just stopping it entirely. Not only that it has huge full-screen ads that popup on occasion as well. I thought maybe this would be rather decent, but there are tons of other options that don’t have such extreme ads in their free version (if you’re really that strapped maybe just have a pro version, but if the ads break functionality of your app they shouldn’t be there) Another issue is adding custom amounts isn’t really that intuitive; I didn’t think at first glance that you could change the type of liquid (other apps usually ether assume you’re only drinking water or lock that down for the paid version) Also, the notification for drinking water seems a bit finicky (I got two in quick succession and then a warning that I wasn’t drinking enough maybe 20 minutes later; I wasn’t even out of bed yet) To summarize, I wouldn’t use this unless you’re going to pay, and even then I doubt that fixes the issues. (I thought I’d be using this app, but the issues are a little much for me; I’ll be going with something else) Edit: I’m only updating because for some reason I constantly get reminded that I’ve gotten a developer’s response to this (it’s the only review I’ve ever done that this has happened) Plus, I seriously don’t think the dev is understanding what I’m trying to say. I’m in NO WAY saying they should pull out ALL the ads just because the app isn’t functioning, I’m merely pointing out that their current setup is causing problems with the UI bringing down the experience severely. If I had to point to the major problem, it would be the top banner ad since that’s usually how most apps function but for this one that ad covers THE ENTIRE TOP OF THE SCREEN (which persists even with the settings open making that section impossible to close) This breaks the functionality of this app making it impossible to use. Since the other issues weren’t even touched on in the response, I’m not sure if they’re going to be fixed or not so I’m not really up to retrying the app; I just want this review to stop spamming me about the response.
