Fun game, but Super 7 is better.

The Rapper

This game is fun, but doesn't quite compare to Super 7. Also, I hope that they add more levels. But overall, this is a very fun game.

This is how iPad port should be done.

ImBorat

I'm impressed by this port. I had Aqua Globs for iPhone and really like it, but I just love the iPad version. They game is more fun to play and has new features like multipliers or clear button. Definitely a must!

Aqua Globs has hit the big screen!

Lord Gek

Expereience the first two levels of the iPhone Cult Classic (more on the way) now in higher resolution and with a couple of fun new twists. These are the ability to score combos and the ability to simultaneously nuke everybody on the screen for some much needed breathing room when things are getting really hectic. When I initially read the game description as group like colored guys and avoid bumping into the opposite color, it sounded challenging but kind of shallow. What I didn't get until playing is that there really is some depth here trying to set stuff up so, for example, not only the two little oranges merge but that they merge right next to another full sized orange for a quick elemination (and therefore more space for the rest of the globbies. Or fun little bits like sometimes you may want to be a little more strategic than simply drawing a line between two like globs. Since attaching them in a line will set both of them on a course right toward each other, while normally convenient, if there are opposite colored folk hovering between them you might first have to route them somewhere else before linking them. Don't even get me started on how BEST to use green globs...

Looking forward to the additional levels :)

LiveTouch

An adorable line-drawing game in which you have to link globs of the same color while preventing orange and blue to meet. After a few hours of training, the challenge builds up and you enjoy the very polished graphics as much as the cute sound effects or the massive waves of small creatures on screen. With a simple but enjoyable gameplay, there's a smooth learning curve and everything shows Qwiboo really intended to make Aqua Globs a very polished game. The iPad version adds some new features with the multiplier and the "clear all" button that make the gameplay even more dynamic and the big score challenge even more interesting. The game also adapts itself to the way you play so new players will have time to learn how things work while advanced players will never be bored. Both levels included in this version have similar "special globs" that will match with every color but while the green guy remains classic, the purple one will split in two, doubling the fun while you watch the rest of the company bounce off the rocks.

Very fun title

This game is tons of fun and can be played for a few minutes or for hours. It gets frantic as time goes on and you get the syndrome of always wanting to play " just one more" . This is a classic and everyone should give it a try.

Broken, move on.

Unfortunately, I can't even try the game due to the fact that something is wrong with the integrated Open Feint software. At the loading screen, I just get a blank white square saying the requested page can't be found. Open Feint's logo proudly displaying in the bottom left corner. With there was a way to universally disable that annoying software in iPad settings so I can enjoy what I buy. Fortunately, I got this app while it was free.

Are you kidding?

Why is it that so few people care when software developers are too inept or lazy to implement multitouch in their app? Fix this basic component of user interaction and I'll rate the game again. I've long since deleted this because it receives no updates. Changing my review to one star because it's still broken and will seemingly never be fixed.
