The app requires the actual gun to work. The app starts up and works perfectly, u just have to buy the gun in order to use it. I personally don't have the gun (yet). But in looking into buying it to see how this is and how good the multiplayer actually is..

Couldn't get this to work at all with 2 different guns. Don't waste your money or time. Can't believe a product that doesn't work can be sold.
