The app has a practice room to get used to the voice recognition and learn the specific clearances. A touch interface is available too.
As an air traffic controller you must maintain a lateral separation of 3 miles or a vertical separation of 1000 feet between aircraft landing and departing.
Give altitude, speed, heading and direct-to clearances to aircraft and make them reach the initial approach fix or the exit point at requested altitude.
This has many features of real air traffic control systems:
- moveable data blocks with different schemes
- speed vectors and past positions
- short term conflict alerts
The free online leaderboards system let you track your scores online and compare with other players.
This lite version is limited to two airports and 25 flights per game. Get the full version to play 200+ airports and unlimited games.

This is an amazing app. I love how addicting it is, especially when I use my voice to direct and vector the airplanes. I have been searching for a tower control app like this one for a long time, so thank goodness I stumbled upon this one. It would be nice if the developers could add more sophisticated commands besides the basics, but its alright the way it is. Thanks you guys.

Voice commands do not work at all on ipad 3. Completely broken. Tried multiple times to recalibrate but would not re ognize anything. Too bad, i sort of liked the look of the app.

With a little practice, easily 90 to 95% success with voice recognition. This is one of the more realistic ATC apps. Will upgrade to the full version.

When it works, the voice control is amazing. But sometimes, it's impossible to get a plane's attention. It seems most likely to happen when an aircraft first enters the airspace. If I manually give it a heading using the touch panel, then it seems to recognize my voice thereafter. Also, you can't change a plane's runway with the touch panel, which is frustrating when it won't respond to your voice. If the voice recognition was a bit more reliable and also more forgiving of exact phrasing, this app would be great app!
Doesn’t work on iPad Pro 9.7

It simply doesn’t take any voice commands on my iPad Pro 9.7”. If it ever gets fixed I’ll review it again.
