Best Reddit Application Ever

I previously rated the app 3 stars due to a bug involving Face ID. That was fixed right away. I rated this app 5 stars mainly because of the dedication of the developer and his speedyness of updating the application. He takes user input very seriously. Much appreciated u/iamthatis

I ditched the reddit app and downloaded this because it does what I want it to do without the stupid updates and add ons of the reddit app.

Used to be an amazing app but now hangs constantly and uses TONS of cpu, killing my battery. It’s incredibly frustrating to use now because it lags so badly. Don’t know what happened to my beloved Apollo!
Just a few suggestions

1. Support for user flairs would be nice. r/politics and r/CFB are good examples of where user flairs are very useful and common. 2. I would really like to be able to see the subreddit icon and banner image when opening a subreddit. It feels like I’m missing a big part of what identifies a subreddit 3. I want to be able to scroll between post images after clicking on one of them full screen. Slightly annoying and more time consuming. Other than that, this app is seriously amazing in every other way. Ultra lifetime user here says thanks for such a great app.
One problem...

Apollo is great and originaly used because reddit wouldn’t download. Now I use it all the time! But, YOU HAFT TO PAY TO POST! If it was not for this detail it would be 5 stars. I understand they need money to keep updating Apollo, but you don’t need to make me pay to do something so simple!
A Step Up from Reddit!

Went ahead and bought the Ultra subscription within a half hour of using the app.The ease of playing GIFs and videos was the biggest reason I paid for it. I’m big on cosmetic changes that can be made&was a little disappointed by the themes (one of my biggest reasons for buying Ultra). Be awesome if in the future you released more colored themes that change more than just the text&icon colors. Maybe a way for us to set our own colors&apply them to whichever aspect of the app we want!??
$25 for notifications?

This is the only app on my phone that does not come with notifications enabled. Every other app has implemented GPS based notifications effectively and I cannot believe the developer charges $25 to enable notifications, or worse, a subscription. Honestly the worst kind of shady business practice.
