Best Reddit App

C Walker

My go to app to satiate my Reddit needs. Greatly prefer this app over all other Reddit apps and the desktop site.

It was great when it worked

free_ponies

It just won’t load up anything anymore. All I see is the spinning loading icon, and no matter what I do, it won’t load up my feed. Too bad. It was a great app when it worked.

It’s the good stuff, from Alien Blue

Barbie.dragon

Loved Alien blue and continued to use it after it wasn’t supported. Apollo saved the day! Will miss alien blue but thanks Apollo :)

For those not aware Reddit is a magnificent social media tool where individuals from around the globe can come together and join communities with other like minded individuals Nothing surprises me anymore! As a long time and committed member of the reddit community, I have over time, learned to not only appreciate all of the functionality and uses of Reddit, but also the shortcomings and confusing app features that keep Reddit held back in time have become more apparent as well. Part of what makes Reddit so appealing to its users’ is the simplicity, Reddit tends to be overwhelmingly basic while still managing to fulfill the needs all redditors are used to. However it is just that, that in my opinion is the largest threat to its future. The simplistic nature and the somewhat archaic interface feels like anything BUT 2019. I possess the desire to use Reddit but to what degree? Then I stumbled across Apollo. Apollo is the solution for myself and the countless others like me across the globe. Apollo finally brings Reddit into the present, allowing its users to more easily navigate its interface, more readily interact with other members, and even customize many actions and gestures to my specifications. The real magic is how Apollo does it. In a world where any and every developer out there can take a product and make it more shiny, or add more buttons, and even implant more colors and sounds. It took a special group with amazing teamwork at Apollo to take such a popular website and bring it up to date, while still leaving that charm in place that granted Reddit success from early on and even now.

Technophobe? Neophyte? Human? This is for You!

TotallyNotPixy

I've tried quite a few Reddit apps, and this is the one that fits my needs. I'm a fairly new Redditor, and while neither technophobe nor neophyte, I'm getting old and mentally lazy in my dotage. This app has an editor that makes posting and commenting a breeze, and offers more powerful features for those who want them. It's so easy to use, my 7 year old uses it to find giggles on her favorite subreddits, and I've caught her using the editor to write comments with embedded code. The free version is good as a standalone, but it's well worth paying to add the extra features. Heck, I just upgraded to support the developer and the extras were the frosting and sprinkles on the cake! One of the highlights for me is the accessibility and responsiveness of the dev. He addresses bug reports, suggestions, etc quickly and he's just plain personable. I'd go so far as to say he's positively Canadian - he's just that awesome.

Wonderful! Way better than the basic reddit app

As a developer myself, this app is very impressive. This dude is my hero. The paid version is definitely worth it

Best app for viewing Reddit

Apollo is an amazing app that should be used by anyone looking for a smooth, perfectly executed replacement of the official app or web browser. Please give it a chance, because you won’t regret it!

Best reddit app!

Great app developer, definitely spending a few dollars to support what he does as well as to add some great features.

Best Reddit client

TheBen12

Yup, this is the best Reddit client. The rest feel like Android apps because they don’t follow Apple design guidelines. Plus, aside from the design, Apollo has an insane number of nifty features that make browsing Reddit more convenient. Why did I give it 4 stars? Because it’s also lacking some important features, like support for crossposts, PMs and mod tools. I hope to update my rating to 5 stars once the developer rolls these out!
