Awesome app but keeps crashing

I recently downloaded this app to help me study for my APWH exam next month and it has been a great help, but Every time I open the app and try to pick a category, the app crashes. Please help. :(

why do you have to pay??? I just wanna pass my AP. This is the issue with Americas education system!!! it's all about the money.

This ropes you into buying a "free app" that actually only gives you one set of flash cards and makes you pay $20 for every other section.
