Worst game ever. Horrible.

Stjdkdlfkrndjzbzj

The whole game is gross and grimy. Even on the easiest setting you have to repeat yourself thousands of times while watching your character die horrible disgusting bloody deaths nonstop.

Better than the original

tjader416

Generally I hate 2d sidescrollers without controller support but they got he controls right in this one. And it looks much better than the original. Played it start to finish fun the whole way. But it.

Horrible!

A New Ascension

I never played the original so I don't know if this is just a bad port. Lovers of the original have stated that the controls are problematic. And I agree. The game in general is non-intuitive and if it wasn't for the walkthroughs online, I'd never have made it as far as i did. If you opt to use the newer touch controls, be aware that at certain points in the game you have to switch back and there is nothing to alert you of that fact except hours of trial and error frustration. This is one of those games where you need to do everything exactly right or you have to kills yourself to try again. I finally got to the end but was unable to finish due to the non intuitive controls. I'm not exactly sure how the original developers even expected players to figure out certain portions of the game. All in all, the game makes very little sense .

Terrible

The controls are terrible and the game makes no sense.

Frustrating

Brotherhood1517

I am still intrigued by the concept of this game, but the default swipe touch screen controls are terrible. They're way bad. I finally switched to the control pad, and that was a little easier, but still, I usually felt like there was a disconnect between what I was trying to make my character do and what he was doing. In a game that basically requires you to die over and over to figure out the right thing to do, this became extremely frustrating. I stuck it out, and I'm glad I did because I never played it on the PC, but I would not recommend this game. Not at full price, anyway.

Horrible controls

OffshoreAccount29

Would be a nice port of a classic game, but the controls might be the worst I've ever used. What a waste.

Beware - No sound!

ShenzhenSuperstar

The developers have not updated the game for over three years. It does not run well on the latest iOS. There is NO SOUND!

Great Game / Horrible Business

32-Bit App Alert, Warns Older Apps May Slow iPhone Getting alerts like crazy. This is not cool. Why did Apple let me buy an app, with no warning, and then flash me a warning while I am running the app, stating that it's bad for my brand new iPhone? Why not just remove it if it's actually slowing down my system? I understand enough about architecture to see how the statement is true, but this just pisses me off. This just leaves me worrying about the health of my devices, and developers and users alike will be angry. I get what Apple is trying to do, but scare tactics will just drive people away from the platform. If the apps really do noticeably slow down Apple devices, then why the hell are they being sold on the App Store with no warning?
