This is a great TD with a lot of polish and a very deep upgrade system. It looks beautiful on the 6 Plus. Totally worth the $4.99.
WAY too easy, not much strategy

I wanted to like it. I liked the other Anamoly games a lot when they weren't crashing too much, but they were sometimes annoyingly on the easy side - so I started playing this on hard - and never came close to losing until the third level. If hard barely takes any thought to win, normal and easy have to be WAY too easy - enough that I'm not willing to find out. You don't really get to strategize much, especially at the beginning. There is only one (!) type of defense tower to choose from, until level 3. Placement doesn't seem to matter a lot either, so it's a going through the motions kind of experience at the beginning. I'm not yet sure if I have the patience to see the rest. Hope it gets better.
