Their system purposely blocks you from being able to extend your reservation and eventually makes you run up late fees. Their customer support is run by amateurs. Forget it.

Compared to others Animo has: 1. Best Price - got to start right away. I needed $12 to get into a car. Smart per hour/mile plan (if I had 2 rides/30 miles in 1 hour I paid about $10 and made $35-$40). And if I don’t have any gigs I’m not driving the car / not paying for it. Only pay when you drive/earn. They pay gas! 2. Cars super nice and always clean. Also leads to more tips. 3. Support is +++ quick responses to my texts or emails from the minute I heard of Animo (always just ask for what you need - in general). Oh...Stick to your return time or extend to avoid late fees (you’re keeping the next driver from earning when you’re late to return). We are lucky to have many options. Try them all!
Deficient documents, horrible signup process

I went around and around endlessly to sign up. Whole process took a week. Four out of the six cars they assigned me have expired registration or insurance and cannot be added to lyft or Uber because, well, their documents are expired. They claim they take care of washing / cleaning etc but the cars are usually dirty and they say if you don’t clean them you’ll be charged. I haven’t been charged for a cleaning fee yet, knock on wood, I guess figuring out how nasty you can leave the car for the next driver is an acquired talent. The pricing point works out better then express drive if you only want to work an hour or two or three a day. On this point alone I recommend. Full time, you’d be paying $400+ a week and it does not go down as you give more rides, unlike the ride sharing platforms. Cars are Priuses from about 2015. Had a brand new loaded Passat under LYFT’s program. Maybe this is a good option for postmates or amazon or something where there’s no rental program available. I’ll keep Animo in my back pocket if my cars in the shop or I wreck it. But could you guys stop being ghetto and renew your plates and insurance? Sheesh. That’s why one star instead of idk, three or four.

They gave me documentation that Uber referred to as “altered”, travelled 2 hours to Uber hub to rectify the situation,, then it happens again the very next day. Tried to get some assistance from support but they have opted to ignoring me. Really sad. I was starting to like the company but As of yesterday, I can’t say I feel the same way.

I used to drive with my personal car for Uber and Lyft but it was getting really expensive to maintain and putting too much mileage on my car. I was losing money by driving. I tried Uber’s rental program for a bit but every Monday I was starting with a negative balance that would be worth 2-3 days of driving. So glad I found this app. Minus the hourly rate, if I don’t drive because I don’t have any pax, I don’t pay anything which is so nice. Cars are cleaned and well maintained. Gas, insurance, and maintenance are all included!
