Great Game, Takes Time

I wanted to review Animal Boyfriend because I have been playing it for about 3 years and it felt like about time I did. First of all, I love this game. I open the app at least once a day to let my boyfriends work or sleep. I have participated in nearly every event and have played probably hundreds of the gachas. Yes, I have even spent money on G, although this was before when the TapJoy offers were not working. Overall, this game has kept my attention for the full 3 years and hasn’t stopped being entertaining to me, even though there were/are moments that there isn’t much to do, such as the time between new gachas. However, I do understand why some people may rate this game lower than 5 stars. Let’s be honest: it takes a lot of time and dedication for this game to be actual fun. When I got my friends to download it as well, they complained that there wasn’t enough to do. I realized that the game only truly becomes fun after you have put a lot of time into it and have collected a lot of things in your closet, which takes a long time. So basically, if you are someone who is willing to put up with a few months of grinding (lol) for clothes and items, then I assure you this game will be so much fun in the future.

I really like this game but it could definitely be better. For starters, being able to send actual friend requests would make it easier to keep in touch with people you meet through the game. Secondly, being able to pick a darker skin tone would, in my opinion, make the customization better. Also since the characters are shown at a slight angle at the head some of the clothes look kind of awkward. Also it’d be nice if we could send clothes as well as items as gifts

Really fun game u get to dress up your boyfriend and have him study work u make choices to keep them happy and put them to bed like with a pet overall fun game with lots of events

I have played this game long enough to acquire 3 animal boyfriends. First, I really dig the art and appreciate the work that it entails. Second, I love that relationship details are kept minimal. I think that encourages one’s own storytelling imagination, i. e. a devart diary. However, I would like to see the user manual, so to speak, expanded. Why do some of the sleeping boyfriends cry? How come some boyfriends seem like “decoys” with just default and 0 trait settings and artwork unlisted on “style check”? I hate to stumped on these things so clarifications would be appreciated! Otherwise, I love this gorgeous unfolding puzzle! Thank you!

From what I’ve heard, it’s way behind the JP version. The closet setup in JP version is even nicer. I get that this game isn’t as popular as the others, so it doesn’t make as much revenue, but.. if it was updated it would have a better chance of competing with the others and therefore gain more frequent players and make more money. I do love the app, but little has changed since I started years ago except the events.

This game is very cute. There are lots of different outfits and ways to interact with your animal boyfriend! Ongoing events and gachas are a very nice touch too. It's obvious though that this game isn't updated as much as it could be, it's a parallel to MOE Can Change but with it being less popular it has way less updates features. I hope soon they will add more features and polish the ones they already have, this game is very fun!

I’ve been playing for quite some time now and have been enjoying it! But the thing is that on the recycle robot, please change the gacha.. it’s been the same items for a long time! also please try harder to make better events an gachas.. it seems that they are ALL girly and why would u want girly items on GUYS? But overall I recommend to everyone

I have an ipad mini and when i try to load the app it crashes, also when accessing the event the whole page won’t load so i can’t see the achievement awards, event shop and etc. please fix this when you can, thank you!! overall i love the game and avatars!
