Monster Wahoo!!
blusea25

While fishing a couple of weeks ago Captain Don Lewis III and team "Spec-One" were fishing an area of live bottom in 90 ft. of water. There were many nice ledges holding larges pods of bait however, one thing was missing....."the bite". The crew was getting impatient and suggested moving to another location.....Capt. Don assured them the bite would turn on....as he had checked his Anglers Edge App that morning before leaving the dock. The Anglers Edge App indicated that the bite would "turn on" between 1 and 2 pm....and sure enough...at 1:15pm the downrigger went off! Line sizzled off of the reel at an alarming rate...at one point the Capt. and crew were concerned that they may be "spooled".......However, after an 1hr and 20 min....angler Kevin Hales boated a monster 85 lb Wahoo!!!! Thank you Anglers Edge!!!!

This app is inaccurate and random.

Okay, so I got this app to see which days the fishing would be good and that going out wouldn't be unproductive. However, this app will say the fishing is a 2 (out of 10) and I'll go out and catch 20 fish all decent sizes... And then it'll say it's a 9 (still out of 10) and I'll go out and get skunked.. I'm not a rookie fisherman, I know what patterns to fish daily, colors, and depths... I fish from a boat and I know what I'm doing so this baffles me. Also, it could be 19 degrees Fahrenheit and the app claims that the fishing is a 10 (out of 10) and even ice fisherman will argue that this isn't ideal... This app I think, is just a guess to take your money. I do not recommend it.

Intermittent problems

I go through the process of imputing my desired location, the app goes through the calculation process, then the app drops out and returns me to my home screen. Very disappointing.

Was great, but now it no longer works.
Firearms Industry Insider

Was working great, but after the March 20 update, it just crashes - exactly as the other recent reviewer mentioned. Please fix this, because it was a great app! Now it's back to working great again. Not sure what was going on with it, but the problem seemed to have begun right after the March 20 update; now it appears to have corrected itself. I'm back to loving this app.

AM/PM

I have found this app to work quite effectively. I do think the barometer AM/PM labels are transposed.

Awesome app!
AAronSman

This is a great app that integrates atmospheric pressure and the solar lunar calendar to help Angler's determine the best day and time for fishing. I highly recommend it!! Best fishing app out there.
