I don't usually write app reviews, but for Ancient frog I absolutely had to. This is one of the app store's true hidden treasures. Just buy it!

Yes the game is absolutely gorgeous, and the concept is an excellent one, but the flexibility of the frogs changes (even within a level) depending on whether the move you want to make is the "right" one or not. Sometimes they'll stretch so far they seem rubber, and sometimes they won't even fully extend a leg. I think the game would be significantly better if the abilities of the frogs remained consistant. Even if different species had different abilities; The exact same frog, who can make a certain move for one turn, should be able to make that same move for another turn.

I almost didn't buy this because of two or three negative reviews and am so glad I did anyway! Tapping the "?" will give you hints to get through the hard steps. Playing the same levels over again to improve my score is just as fun since it's hard to remember the solution. And it's a gorgeous app!
Excellent Game But Needs a "Sound Off" Option

Truly an amazing game! However, I really wish there was a "sound off" option. The music is beautiful, but there are so many times where I would have wanted to play this game and have been unable to due to my current surroundings. Overall, this is a great game with the graphics that tops the most out there!

This is the most entertaining, addictive puzzle game ever so stop thinking and buy it. Don't miss this priceless gem of a game because it is 3.00 it is worth every penny.

Just a guessing game that gets boring quickly. Nice graphics, but that's about it.
