Beginning goes fast, but that is it

It really doesn’t take much to get things going, but if you get very far in the game, don’t expect things to come very quickly. Having to collect 10-12 Million DNA to be able to do research to wait weeks for all of them to be completed, to then to be able to do quests? Be serious people. I literally get into the game, spend 30 seconds collecting everything, then get off the game. I only get I think 18000 DNA each time I get on. Then have to wait 1.5 hours to get the next 18000. This is at level 127 with 635 people, all at Minotaur or above. If I never slept, to get enough DNA to just catch up to the quest I am now, as I used Iridium to bypass some quests, I would have to collect DNA nearly 700 times. If I stayed up 24/7 to do this, that is over 40 days just to catch up. Or I could spend $200 just to catch up and that ain’t going to happen. Games are meant to be fun, and this is not fun. Can’t even consider this game a waste of time, unless you account for the fact it takes longer to log in than it does to collect. If the makers of this game read this, and I really hope you do, there are 2 things you can do to really improve this game. First thing, create a glyph that can be used to create DNA. Got one for gold, iridium, and xenon. Why not DNA? Second, if you are going to have such an unrealistic amount of resources to acquire to complete something, increase the amount that those resources are able to be produced. Or at the very least, allow the Sun Temple to constantly collect DNA from the houses every 1.5 hours without ever filling up. Then if let’s say 15 hours goes by, instead of collecting 17000 DNA, I could collect 170000 DNA, and if needed, 10 times the amount of plausible deniability can be used to collect all that DNA. As the game sets right now, it isn’t worth playing. Thinking about just deleting it at this point because realistically it will take 2 years to get caught up in getting the DNA I need to do anything.

I love the game but overall it’s too sensitive to touch, scrolling from top of the screen to bottom it select a citizen twice which is annoying. Other than that the games great

How ingenious! Pretty neat application to go with the tv series. I like how they incorporated the ads with rewards if you want them. App is not costly at all with hours of enjoyment.

Great game when I started a few years back. Still waiting for an upgrade so i can finish the third pyramid. Will it ever happen???

Having read a majority of the reviews about this game, I write mine from the standpoint of an end game player who has stuck with it until the end(ish) and the biggest complaint I see is slow progression. I’m currently over level 100 and I have to say it wasn’t easy sticking with it but I already have so much time invested in the game (and love for the show) I decided to stick with it. Here are some recommended changes that would take this game from a 2/3* game to a 5* game. The quest objectives, building costs and research costs needs to be nerfed DRAMATICALLY. (Spoiler alert) After months and months of building the first pyramid of Giza brick by brick I finally reach the end. I was soo juiced to see what happens when you finish the pyramid and when the last brick gets laid, It tells me I need a ******* MILLION GOLD to compete the pyramids capstone! \o/ Then the only feasible way to achieve that much at once is to research the Crop Circles that produce gold and they are asking a combined total of over 1.7 MILLION DNA TO RESEARCH IT. This was almost a deal breaker for me, Now I have over 500 Egyptian slaves wondering around aimless cause there is no work for them to do until I get the capstone completed. Which leaves the only aspect keeping me in the game at this point, the building and decorating of the city and THAT couldn’t be more frustrating and janky for when you try to build a wall it only lets you buy a centimeter at a time and the buy again option doesn’t let you line up the wall in a straight line it appears parallel to the previous piece. Its IMPOSSIBLE to build a straight line wall. IMPOSSIBLE. Finally, its been 11 MONTHS since you've updated the game. Just tell us were burnt already and you've moved on to another project. Fix this game please. Giorgio would not be pleased. Apparently the Dev.’s for this game have all been abducted.

I love this game. I don’t normally find a game that I love enough to play every day for a year. I truly don’t think I’ve missed a day since I downloaded it. I don’t even mind the wait to accumulate resources!!! But. I was looking online and now know that I’m on the last quest of the most recent update. This is almost heartbreaking to me knowing that my time with this game is almost up. Can you at least do an update to finish the storyline somehow??? I need to know how this all ends - I’m emotionally invested at this point. Please and thank you.
