Much of my Christian walk, I had an amplified bible. I like its detailed wording of the scripture. Instead of using one word, it will use many, and that helps bring a deeper understanding of what is trying to be communicated. I also like, that there are some other cross references to other related scriptures. I own a concordance, and spent much time looking up scripture and this greatly helps. But most of all, it is one of two bibles I have downloaded to my tablet. I can take it with me wherever I go. I would buy an amplified study bible if you created one for electronic devices, that's how much I like and enjoy using it. Thank you so very much. It's awesome.

I love this translation, and really enjoy the night reading mode option that is a available on this app. If I could change one thing? It would not be so much taking away all the ads, but changing the ones that do appear. Catholic Church, and mormons.org are the ones I have seen. I personally do not want to have anything to do with either one. This is a great app with some great features.

This is a very handy app and greatly appreciated. Some theologians think this version is not to be received at all, but I think there is a translation for everyone that they can relate to. And this is what is important. Personally I like to use several different ones at a time just to cross check them. I used to think this version was a bit clumsy until I found myself returning to it again and again for study and meditation. I like the features of this app as the print size is nice and big. And then there is the black on white or white on black font and background options. Overall this is very enjoyable to use. It is a nice addition to my leather bound copy which is about 35 years old. Blessings and thank you.
