Great App for Small Kids
Panic Papa
Although there seems to be an endless supply of apps for kids out there, when it comes to teaching kids important things like safety, there isn't much to choose from? Ampelini XL is a welcome exception. But what makes it really shine is that the didactic aspect is integrated into the game in a way that feels natural and not forced. The game is as fun to play as apps that are made to be just for fun. Plus the characters and setting are really unusual and wacky, which makes this app really special. I unreservedly recommend it for kids up to age 7 or 8. It is especially appropriate for preschoolers who can't read yet and are just getting used to using a touch interface.
