- what is the structure of Alanine?
- which structure corresponds to amino acid code A?
- what is amino acid code for Alanine?
... and so on!
Statistics of your answers will be collected so you can see which amino acids you haven't learned good enough.
I download this app to help me prepare for a bio chem course next semester. I like the the questions ask about all aspects (structure, names) and in both directions. Perhaps a table of information would be nice in a future version.
Good for quizzing yourself after you've studied up on your amino acids. I wish I had this 3 years ago for my biochem class. May be helpful for me in the future
It's great! I only wish the app would say which AA I got wrong and then move on to the next question. However, for being free it's very well put together.
Sweet n simple app which is good. Just wish you could control what things you are studying for. Like structure, abbreviations, symbols. You could just have a tab with which ones you want to study and just highlight the boxes wanted. So then you could mix an match the areas of study.
It's well-presented, easy to use, and almost addicting. Perfect for my biochem class :) I still do need to just get a pencil and paper to draw them out, but this helped a lot. Thanks!!
Very helpful ! It'll b even better if can add questions about charges under different pH conditions, name/structure for polypeptide chain, and pI value, etc.
Tests all combinations of structures to names to one-letter abbreviations. Couldn't ask for a better app!
If I'd have known how good this is, I would have paid for it. In biochem right now and I can't tell you how irreplaceable this app is.
This is an excellent app! I was able to learn the 20 amino acids in a couple days with this app. It would be even better if it had some questions involving the three letter codes, but still a great app!!
