Revised Review

This owner continues to be incompetent and petty trash. Ambition is a solid five star game. Under Flounder Apps, the original developers, Ambition had its bugs, but customer support was top notch. When a bug came up an email to the developers almost always solved the problem. If the problem could not be solved immediately, the developers always responded within about 24 hours. In short, communication was excellent. At the end of May, Ambition was acquired by Branchenking. Immediately after the acquisition server issues began presenting themselves. A few days later, Ambition stopped functioning entirely. A few days after that, Branchenking sent out a communication that they were switching servers and the game would be back up in 48 hours. The complete nonfunctioning of the game then persisted for 10 more days. Now, Ambition appears to be functioning. Yesterday Branchenking sent out only its second communication explaining the technical issues that had transpired and admonishing " true fans" to revise their one star reviews that had been submitted while the game was down. I'm giving Branchenking the benefit of the doubt on all technical issues. So why is this still only a three star review? Because while the technical issues may have been out of Branchenking's control, customer service was not. Branchenking's new message says that these one star reviews have "serious negative consequences for Ambition's future" that they've "impaired funding for future development" and that Branchenking has "a lot of plans for future development" but that "the current low ratings and rankings" have forced Branchenking to "put these plans on hold". While all of this might be true, the fault lies squarely with Branchenking. Branchenking ought not think of those of us that left one star reviews as "fans" or "players". We are not Branchenking's fans or players. We are Branchenking's customers. Everyone playing Ambition paid for it. Branchenking has thus far provided almost no customer service. If after the initial problems, they'd sent out an immediate message explaining the situation, customers would have understood. If after their 48 hour message they had sent another message explaining the continuing issues, customers would have complained, but understood. Instead Branchenking said nothing until the game was back up and functioning. That 48 hour message stayed up for 10 days. During those 10 days, Branchenking's customers became increasingly angry. Every one star review was justified at that time because Ambition was unplayable and no adequate explanation was given. At that point, no one should have bought the game because Branchenking provided no current information as to whether Ambition would actually return. Now that the game is back, I've revised my rating. As I noted before, Ambition is a solid five star game. Branchenking gets zero stars for customer service and no benefit of the doubt regarding their future conduct. Going forward Branchenking, how about instead of admonishing "true fans" to leave a new review so your revenue flow will open up, you instead run the game competently and provide decent customer service? If technical issues outside of your control come up, tell the customers. Don't go silent for a couple of weeks. And do not tell your customers to be "true fans" and to up their ratings for a game they could not play. Ratings are earned. Ambition is a five star game. Branchenking's customer service has been deserving of one star. Earn those other four.

Good game, Terrible support.

Ambition is a fun multiplayer experience. The community is very active and the price is good. However, the issue is that the new ownership of this game hasn’t touched it in over 11 months. There have been numerous calls to action for the development team to fix glitches and other in game issues. The biggest one is the dice generator, as it effects the playability of the game. If the game was given some attention, then the community would be happier and more players would join. Until something is done about my complaints and the complaints of others this is the best review I can give. If and when the game is fixed I would gladly rate the game better. Thanks, Jewwwish
