We love your app, but it won’t open anymore with the latest iPhone update. Can you update so we can continue use? Thanks! Hey! We've been sleeping peacefully to Porch Rain for several months now and it's the best sleep we've ever had. (Lindsay Wagner can have her Sleep Number bed). I just downloaded the upgraded version of Ambience and Porch Rain is still there! (Thank you!). I'm blown away though at all the NEW sounds. And the pictures. And the very cool and easy interface. You did a truly fantastic job with this app. I'll be looking for anything new you create. Consider me "brand loyal" to Coneybeare Labs". - Ang Depriest, Franklin TN

2017 update: since the developer has decided to officially abandon this as of iOS 11, can anyone recommend alternatives? --- 3.0 update: love the new rewrite. not thrilled it erased all my sounds but five. on first load the new version prompts you to email yourself your downloaded sounds, and good thing i did. settings are now available both in-app as well as from the standard Settings app. there's a lot of negative reviews on this site from people who are freaking out because: 1) the 2.0 update changed things so you have to download individual sound files, and 2) you have to provide an email address to get access to the sounds. in the developer's defense, there are some great benefits to this change: 1. size. you don't have to download 50+ megabytes to purchase or update the application. the core software is a small download. 2. previews! you can listen to a sound before deciding to install it. 3. customization. don't like a sound? you can opt not to download it, or delete it if you change your mind later. 4. expandability. no more waiting for Apple to approve an update just to get more sounds. as for sharing your email address, come on people. this is very common when buying shareware and is necessary for registration and receiving support. Coneybeare has stated he won't share your email with anyone. generally i'm happy with Ambiance; i like the interface and the sounds it offers. case in point: "Ambience Classic" is now available on the iTunes Store for those who prefer the way the original Ambience worked, and for a short time it was free.

Loved this app, it is one of the few I keep using for years. I am sad to see it stopped working in iOS 11. The developer website has a short blog post that they are disconituing it now. I guess it's time for the app to rest now.
Too bad there’s no OS11 update planned

Love it. I find this ap extremely easy to use and soothing for reading, meditating or simply relaxing. Some sounds you can hear the break in the loop but overall I really enjoy it. Definitely a dollar well spent. Update: oct 2017 - please update the app! Will no longer work with the newest iOS.

I’m mad because I have this app & can’t even use it. Says the developer needs to update it to work with IOS 11. I loved this app it always helped me fall asleep, but now I can’t use it?
