After reading some reviews, I was concerned that this app wouldn't be very good. Some said that they had only bad choices, and were upset. I however find those people to be very wrong. I throughly enjoyed this app, especially because if you do something that is kind and good hearted, you are rewarded. I believe that the people who gave bad reviews made bad decisions. I think this app teaches that good people who are kind to others are more successful in life than those who aren't. I want to make sure that this app isn't falsely reviewed. I took off one star because of the price.

For the many frustrations I've encountered while playing this game, it's not worth $5 at all. There need to be some major improvements or a price drop at least. $5! For this!? First of all, the game comes off as very sexist. I played through both the make and female lives and it seems very different in a bad way. And why can't I propose as a female or ask my man on a date? Ridiculous. And when I finished college in each experience, with a major in natural sciences, the male character made $90,901 per turn and the female made $43,403, while both in the health services 2 career. That's outrageously different. Besides that, you do not get to spend enough time at each stage of life. I'd really like to be able to get through each icon and see all of the stories without having to play the game over and over. It's a cool game, but frustrating and it bores me after a while especially when I have to start a new life so soon. It would also be nice to be able to see a potential partner's characteristics before committing to starting to date them. And it would be great if it wasn't always impossible to have a child. I always take up nearly my entire middle adulthood trying and I end up having to adopt when I'm old. Also, I think the college experiences need to lay off all the romance when I already have a boyfriend. Maybe focus less on that and more on going to parties or working on assignments or something. All in all, I love this game, but it needs some change before I'd believe it's worth $5.

I found this game on an app review sight for the visually impaired community and was so excited to play it. I was not disappointed. I find that some authors who write multiple choice/choose your own adventure type games can be rather limiting in the way they write their games. This one gave me plenty of scenarios and was well worth the money. I do wish I could play through all the icons in a life stage. But, at the same time, not being able to causes me to be strategic about the icons I do choose to play through. To those who say this game is unrealistic, I disagree. In life, we often choose to mentally or actively focus on the parts of our lives we enjoy. And if we neglect the parts we don't enjoy, other parts of our lives suffer. In this game, if you neglect one type of story, your statistics suffer and you can pay for that neglect during your next life stage. So choose wisely and reap the rewards as your game progresses. Or don't choose wisely and just watch the fun. The choice is yours.

So addictive and amazingly fun but I'm kind of sad you can't have a girlfriend as a girl. It's hard for me to relate to the alter when she's always going after the gender I'm not interested in. I'd really like that fixed, also getting children is kind of hard and takes forever. It is realistic but sometimes with realism you have to put a cap on it or it gets repetitive and frustrating.
