Join Alphie, a cute baby squid, as he embarks on his life adventure to become a giant squid. Explore the wondrous ocean, its tidal pool, coral reef and depths by riding currents, beating sharks, navigating mazes and growing all the time. Enjoy the vibrant art, funny animation, immersive game play and beautiful music.
Help Alphie eat and grow by touching the screen to lead him to swim and explore the ocean, discovering mysterious sea creatures. As you move through each level of ocean, collect all different types of food and fish. Help Alphie dodge, ink, and trap predators. As you strategize to survive, hypnotize your prey and camouflage yourself in colorful seaweeds.
Quick reflexes will help you navigate through the mazes and evade attacks from unfriendly creatures. In each level you need to eat enough to keep growing to pass through two current gates. Earn extra points by finding gold treasure chests and uncovering treasure fish! For high score, earn even more points by eating lots of fish consecutively.
As you meet new prey and predators, be sure to check the gallery and read the fun facts highlighting the diversity of sea creatures in the game.

I love Alphie the squid I played it so much I even reached the last level once I heard that the game needed update that made me so disappointed and mad ??????, the creators of this app should REALLY step it up. If millions and trillions of people love this app that is probably not good.

I love cephalopods I LOVE octopuses and squids and a mollusk that has tentacles with a shell even cuttle fish and I know a lot about cephalopods did you know that an octopus don’t have 8 arms! But they do have 6 arms and 2 legs and 6+2=8. But my problem is that my IPAD doesn’t let me play alphie because the app needs to be updated makes me soooo sad:(?????☹️ and im coming to the Monterey bay aquarium soooo PLS PLS UPDATE IT I CAN NOT PLAY IT SINCE LAST YEAR SO PLS UPDATE IM COUNTING ON YOU

My kids are already in love with this game (won't give my iPhone back). In this case, I don't mind, because they are actually learning as they play. I like the way they set up this game to be educational, in a subtle and cool way. Don't spend $$ on games often, but think this one is definitely worth it. Well done Crystal Entertainment!

Adorable game. I don't get the rating....it is only a 9+ rating because he needs to eat fish to grow? It's a squid. He needs to eat. What kind of a dumb rating is this? Give it a 10....it's cute and great quality. It is educational but that doesn't inhibit the FUN factor at all.

Nearly 40 years ago, I was working on designing the dynamic memory part of a "PC", called VideoBrain, and glad to see it was sold at 7 local Macy's store as "PC" with simple games to attract buyers. Well, i was too busy to play the games at that time, but now is time to compensate --- buying this beautifully painted , dynamically moving, pleasant in playing, state-of-positive-art animated game, for 3 generations to play, including ME :-) Lots of fun ! Very relaxing and the pictures are just beautiful ! I am ready to buy the sequel of this one, when more characters are putting in , for papas and grannies.

Alphie is very cute and the music goes so well with the levels. I feel like I'm the one whose swimming in the ocean. Nice design and graphics. My favorite part is the fish gallery--I learned so much about all the fish I'm seeing in the game!

Graphic is nice. Interaction is smooth. I like the educational info on the marine creatures they encounter, especially when they don't interrupt the game, but I can check out afterwards. Don't know how challenging it'll get later, but at the beginning, it's calm and simple, perfect for little kids.
