Veteran level to start?
Baklaflan

Just downloaded and it forces you to start on a hard level. Is there no way of changing this? Looking through the menu doesn’t offer any level changes and everything on the initial scroll screen is locked.

Amazing phone game

Harkens back to the OG days of Canabalt, etc. Id like to see different ship options though. I’d love a ship with a little more weight to it.

Fun but...

Fun game but I wish the progression were more thematic and/or varied (the Dark level is really cool but hardly anyone has unlocked it). For example: Have a few different background types which change as you progress further and then vary the hazard types based on the backgrounds. You don’t need any new art besides background images. - The environment starts off inside a giant, damaged spaceship. - At 2000m you escape the ship and are in the middle of a battle having to dodge projectiles (lots of the “comet” hazard. - At 4000m you leave the battle and enter an asteroid belt having to dodge giant rocks. - At 6000m you enter a narrow tunnel through a giant asteroid. - At 8000m you enter a dark section of the asteroid (basically The Void difficulty level which is really unique but only ~300 people have gotten to experience it in the current game). - At 10000m??? It would add to the replay value having that mystery of what else might be out there if you can make it a little further in your next run. Right now it just gets repetitive because you know that you arent going to see much variety except different color backgrounds and a few more obstacles. Alternatively just keep things randomized as they are now but make a few different level types which are more varied. One level has more large rocks, another one has more projectile hazards, another has narrower caves, another has twistier caves, etc. And throw in some random modifiers like the Dark modifier. Just mix things up a bit.

On my toilet in 2021
Spudanky

I'm sitting here doing my duty, playing this game in 2021, thinking how many "runner" games are similar in concept but haven't held my attention over the years. The atmosphere, visual style, music, simple mechanics, help to make this game a gem that will never be deleted off my phone. I'd love to see a sequel or something to expand on what this game does. Things that keep me from playing more often: - no controller support. Sad. - music implementation is basic: I'd love to see a dynamic music system that ramps down when you die, and gets more intense as you progress further. Not saying write new music, but using the current musical tracks to shape the experience more for each run. Currently, after three or four runs with the music trucking along indifferent to your gameplay it starts to get annoying imo. Starting a new run with the music pumping at full hype, after dying from almost beating your high score, feels a little like the game is poking fun at your losses, and personally takes the wind outta my sails, and quickly kills my excitement to continue. Currently nothing beats the excitement of your very first run, in part, because the music naturally is synched to intensifying gameplay. - one additional mechanic. Maybe adding cool down weapons like cluster missiles on the right thumb as you progress deeper, to help take out asteroids. - some kinds upgrade ship system. Maybe menu screen has a hanger bay, allowing for different ships and/or upgrade abilities. Having said that, this game really is a beautiful gem. Thanks to the devs for such a simple yet amazing game, providing years of fun on my phone.

*Explosion* ..... Oh, sorry. I was to busy having MY MIND BEING BLOWN TO BITS AFTER PLAYING THIS GAME!!!! This is was a true masterpiece, and boy am I lucky that it's only 10 dollars! I thought it would cost even more money! The controls are smooth, simple, and with the perfect sensitivity! Like, for real, the lowest difficulty is "veteran," like, FOR REAL! HOW COOL IS THAT!?! WOULD RATE 6 OUT OF 5 IF I COULD!!! THAT IS HOW AMAZING THIS GAME IS!!! LIKE, I PUNCTUATED EVERY SENTENCE WITH AN EXCLAMATION MARK!!!! Well, except for this one. And this one, lol.

This game is beautiful (both visually and acoustically) and very hard. Be warned, it's addictive.

Beautiful, elegant endless runner.

Very awesome and intense

Alone is very intense at most points, and has awesome graphics. It has very good music, especially in the credits. I would highly recommend this game to people that like intense gaming, and I have not seen any problem with it
