This app seems pretty cool. It is missing something though and that is the ability to add in non- monetary rewards instead of only a monetary allowance/reward. In our home, right now, we use rewards of minutes for a specific game or privilege as the reward for various chores and goals. If this app had that I'd happily give it five stars please please consider that option.

Helps make sure we remember allowances and track spending. Don't have to worry as much about keeping up with cash.

I want to try it out but it only allow one child and ONE chore. How can you test it out with just ONE chore? Ridiculous.

This app has really changed the way we view and manage chores and has made after school time much more enjoyable for both of us, and chores less stressful, for him and I. My 9 year old and I agreed on the assigned chores and the description. I no longer find myself "harping and nagging" at him to do his chores. He gets an allowance that we agreed upon for a set amount of "daily chores" he gets a reminder on his iPod, when he completes his chores i get a notification on my phone and I either approve or disapprove the "daily" work. On the day we chose, Saturday, I can look back at the week's chores and approve, deny, or adjust his allowance. The app then keeps track of his total allowance saved. He can choose to spend or save money in the app. He can even become indebted, however for those decisions it is necessary to have a parental code that you set up in the beginning. This app is helping to teach him self-accountability within a rewards based system. This is much more relatable to life and encourages independence in this stage where there seems to constantly be struggles with that very issue. Ie: I'm either constantly nagging to get something done which puts us both in a bad mood, or I say nothing, and inevitably things will not get done. The obvious solution giving him one reminder and moving on is difficult moreso for me, as once I remind him I expect him to begin working on the chore. Even if I say nothing, it will drive me crazy until he does. I enjoy paying allowance, and he works toward something tangible. On the days that our daily schedule is off a bit or something is on his mind, the reminder handles the nagging, and I don't hear a word about chores anymore, except how much money he has saved!!!!! Also, great and timely assistance if needed from developer!!! BRILLIANT!!!!

Worked initially, but now keeps crashing on our iPad. Put some work into setting up, so needless to say, I'm a bit disappointed.
Mother of far too many
Just another app trying to take your money. Don't bother. Find a better one worth the cost per device
