Tweak can run on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

iLive Tweak provides wireless mobile control of basic functions for the Allen & Heath iLive digital live sound mixing system. You can control:

- Input faders, mutes, PEQ, delay
- Mix faders, mutes, PEQ, GEQ, delay
- FX send faders, mutes
- FX return faders, mutes, PEQ
- DCA faders, mutes
- Engineer’s IEM, Wedge monitor faders, mutes

Requirements:

The iLive system you are connecting to must be running a version of V1.9 firmware to work with this version of Tweak.

The iPhone uses its Wi-Fi connection to control the iLive via a wireless router (wireless access point) connected to one of the iLive MixRack or Surface NETWORK ports. Use a good quality wireless router. Refer to the Allen & Heath web site for more information on choosing and setting up the router.

Wireless router:

Check that your wireless router has an IP address that is compatible with the iLive.

Make sure Wi-Fi is turned ON in the iPhone Settings screen. Choose your wireless router from those shown in the Network list.

Check for good Wi-Fi signal strength and that there is no interference from other wireless equipment in the area.

For security we recommend you password protect your wireless router. The iPhone remembers the network settings. To prevent an iPhone connecting again in the future without the password, for example if you have let a guest engineer access your iLive with their own iPhone, select your network in their iPhone Settings Wi-Fi menu and use the ‘Forget this network’ function.

Connecting to the iLive:

Start the Tweak application. The screen displays the names of any iLive MixRacks available on the network. Select the MixRack you want to connect to and touch ‘Connect’. Select the User name and enter the password if one has been set. If no password is set then leave it blank and touch ‘Login’.

Please update for new devices??

I am not sure that it would be that hard to allow new iOS interoperability. We live our iLive at our venue but need apps!

Last AH board I ever buy!
Sound-Guy-8

I loved my iLive board. The lack of support just a few years after I purchased it cause me to look elsewhere. AH always had the worst apps, but pretty great boards. Others have caught up to the great boards and have always had great apps. They may not make these anymore, but should at least have updated the app. In reality the app should have been updated while the boards were still being made. Huge disappointment.

I TOTALLY agree with Wayne1069! A&H, please update the Tweak app to at least work with iOS 11. Not asking to expand functionality, just make it compatible. I cannot update my phone or iPad because of incompatibility, as I use this app every Sunday. Have just acquired an xDR16 to add to our 9 year old T112 & iDR48. Cannot afford new console (especially after replacing our 600Mhz wireless mics. Thanks government!!). Looking now for an M-Ace card to connect that xDR16. Really need an update to Tweak. Please Allen & Heath, treat your old loyal customers nice. Thanks Doyle

UPDATE THE APP!

App WAS great. Doesn’t work with new OS. A&H, PLEASE FIX!

Finally!

I've been waiting for this for sometime now, I plan on writing more reviews with software feedback. I currently use a MacBook pro with the offline software to hit an iDR-32. I've been using an iPhone and iPad with external control apps (vnc, etc..). Thanks A&H!

Very cool

This is an awesome tool. But I was very disappointed that it could only control the first 64 channels. I hope in a later version they address this. It's definitely a 5 star app then.

A great start...

This is a great start... there's a few things missing (or at least, that I can't find), but for quickly adjusting levels from the stage (or even tweaking the parametric EQ settings on a channel), this is a huge time-saver. Free is awesome, too! It will be a five-star app when I can select scenes, rename channels, adjust gain and compression, and (perhaps most importantly) adjust several channels at once in full glorious resolution on my iPad.

Only one tweak needed...

This app is a great start for A&H. Note that only one channel can be accessed at a time because of the screen size. There are a few features that come standard when scrolling through the channel strip. In my opinion, you should be able to select what options you want standard on the strips i.e compressor, gate, trim etc. One of the standard elections is delay for that channel. I would never use that and I would like to replace it with an option I use more. Other than that, great job!

Thank U

This is perfect for minor adjustments on the fly around the room. Thanks for this tool. Please release a sound meter function this would help a lot also.

Great app
