Another great game from Glitch

vaficionado

Between Glitch and Fireproof games, the true masters of the puzzle/escape genre have emerged. This is another masterpiece from the Glitch team, with just enough puzzles of just the right difficulty to be a really great play. The clues are so well hidden and naturally environmental that you really do have to think, it’s not just “Oh, this door is locked. Oh, there’s a key over here.” - there are layers that make you exercise your brain. I do agree with others who have said that the delivery by the main character was a bit disappointing. The dad-jokes are cute, but his reads are weak. And the upbeat nature of his counterpart’s responses took you out of the mood of the story somewhat. Despite that, I can’t wait for Part 2.

Good but not great (bad voice acting/dialogue)

This review is for the developers and comes with a caveat that I own a lot of your games. As creators/developers I encourage Glitch to try different things if they chose so but only add it to the game if it matches the same refined quality as the rest of the game. Forever lost (3 in particular) seemed very polished top to bottom and when you guys add in an layer with audio I just think is has to be polished with the rest of the game. The voice acting is bad and distracting along with some of the sounds. Also not a fan of the wheel UI introduced recently. Again please be creative and do what you do but I think you should have parallel development with one game being what you want to do and the other Forever Lost 4,5,6....I know you guys are a small team and wish you the best!

Too tricky

There is no way that the average person will be able to figure out all the clues without watching a walkthrough and I am guessing that many people will give up in frustration. The connections between clues is very difficult to figure out and most will waste a lot of time attempting to decipher clues without finding the other pieces or by using irrelevant information.

Glitch makes great games

Anyone who doesn't know how to use that organ upstairs called the brain, I guess, should not play. If you want to play another boring RPG, or mindnumbing FPS, or lame Adventure game, go play those. If you want to play a brilliant touchscreen interface for iOS or Android "easy to navigate" Adventure game, and actually "challenge yourself" or learn something, play Glitch games. I found nothing wrong with the voices or jokes of these actors and their characters. In my opinion, they did a great job; it's what made the game fun, interesting, and unique. I always wanted to know what was going to happen next. Kudos to the developers! Awaiting Part 2 to find out more about the family and their ability to survive in All That Remains...Glitch rocks! Here is what people need to do when playing these types of games..."write things down" if you can't memorize or recall everything. No one usually sits and plays a game like this for hours on end. Most people can't remember everything they did the next time they play a game. If you play several apps or games, and you can remember everything, awesome! You must be a genius! But, most people (kids, teens, adults) need to write things down, take snapshots, etc. There are built-in notetaking and snapshot camera features which will help you in games like this. These guys are your rockstar equivalent for a game developer. Fun, humor, puzzles, puzzles within puzzles, and then some more! You won't get bored. If you get stuck, try a different approach or maybe a different puzzle in the game; or wait, and come back later after a nap. Play these games with other friends or family. Pretty soon you will be saying to yourself "How on Earth did I miss that?" And then you'll start becoming smarter and learn to think, logically. You will improve as time goes by. The more you play these kinds of games, you will get better. Try their other games, too. They're super cool!

Only One Glitch IMO

I always look forward to a release from Glitch Games. But, I was not a fan of the plumbing puzzle. (And this is coming from a guy who completed Cabin Escape through Forever Lost 3 with ZERO hints.) With that said... Am I the only person who performs searches for “games like” those put out by ‘Glitch’ (only to be disappointed because they just don’t cut it)?

Solidly entertaining

Enjoyed it - just hard enough to be slightly frustrating. Where's the next one, they follow up you alluded to at the end? I'd buy it now if it was available/if i could find it. In any case, this is quite good with an interesting premise. A great deal - it's under-priced for what it is.

Great puzzler

Vdpotvin

Overall a great game and I can’t wait until part 2. The puzzles were challenging but not so bad I felt overly frustrated. The camera feature, pinning pictures and marking them is a game changer for me. Usually when I play puzzle adventures I have to keep a notebook next to me. The only real complaint I have is the voice acting of the main character. The writing was good but I just didn’t buy his delivery.

What can I say?

Jiggly jig

Another great game from glitch!

Waaay too difficult....

Cinewriter

...nothing makes sense...game flow gives no sense of connection to next step...no possible way to finish this thing without walkthrough...super frustrating to the point that you just don't care if Cam rots in that stupid cellar with his lame jokes that take you right out of the game atmosphere and sense of urgency...not recommended

Eh

I love these type of games, but this game was too hard, in the sense that things didn’t connect or make sense. I didn’t hate it, but I like the forever lost games much better.
