App takes over 5 min just let me view my purchased magazines. Horrible navigation to find the mag I am looking for. Canceled my subscription.
I downloaded the thing thinking I am going to love this and it wouldn't even open once
Great publication for anyone interested in the present and future of human space exploration. Filled with articles that go way beyond something like Popular Science. Well worth the subscription $.
Of course you have to buy an issue or subscription to enjoy it. Ignore the one stars reviews, they obviously never bought an issue.
Great pictures, and there are some interesting stories. However, a lot of the content seems to be geared for about the middle school aged. I've also noticed a few factual errors in some articles.
Update: reducing to one star, since the new version with "improved experience" doesn't even save your reading position when exiting! You have to start over at the beginning and manually page to your position, if you can remember. INEXCUSABLE! Thumbnails hopping up and down is not an improvement to the reading experience. It's just annoying. The table of contents pages can't be tapped to take you to an article. Why not? Double tapping article text zooms in ridiculously far, instead of fitting the text to the screen. No text view of articles. After all this time waiting for an update, you gave us nothing but a new landing screen. The All About Space app at this point is not even as good as a PDF reader. It's just a collection of jpegs. Abandon this approach and switch to Adobe Digital Editions or properly reformat the magazine for the Ipad. Stop saying you've improved the READING experience when you haven't.
