I played this game all the way through on normal on my iPhone 6+. IT IS AWESOME and It worked flawlessly except for one minor frustration I will explain that at the end. Meanwhile, I would like to start by saying that I love this game and would recommend this to everyone that likes scif strategy, to think and enjoy a good challenge. There are aspects of this game that are difficult if you don't think your way out. For example some people say the 'Marlocs' (i.e., alien ships that attack you) are too hard. Nonetheless if you build a fleet of ships, they can navigate around them and destroy them. This makes the game not feel so impossible anymore. You can't just build towers and mindlessly watch them shoot the enemy. You must manage planets resources, pipelines, defense turrets, energy allocation, repair stations, terraform planets, build and command fleets of various types of ships, use them to implement smart tactics on the enemy, research LOTS of different upgrades (i.e., upgrade ships shields or how quickly planets harvest resources etc.,) and much more. Also, this game is very easy to jump into. It just gets more in depth and easier after each game because you learn a little more each time. I like to have heavy rail-guns mixed with other turrets around my solar system, so they can shoot Marlocs from afar and get drones that get too close. After setting thet up, I always have a fleet of attack ships on hand, which i can use to micro manage around the Marlocs that try to avoid the turrets. My only complaint is that in the last 30 seconds of my 6 hour game a lot of planet notifications appear and it is hard to avoid clicking on them which brings me away from the task I'm working on at hand. Its definitely not a deal breaker though.

There is a learning curve so do the tutorials and start from easy... ;)

It's always difficult to create a fun, in-depth, and complex strategy game on such a small platform. Recognizing that, I would recommend this game. I enjoy the turret based defense system, the resource pipeline idea, the simple, yet improbable colonizing/terraforming. All in all, a good purchase call.
