The cave of heroes is a first person adventure game, with very great puzzles and a pick and use objects game mechanics. Astonishing graphics, art direction and a very solid story line.
Millions of plays assure that Alexia Crow series is one of the best adventures games ever made, are you prepare to enter the adventure??
There is a very brief demo mode to start and then you gotta pay $1.99 like within 2 minutes of starting. I am about to delete this from my ipad.
If you enjoy puzzle games this one will appeal to you. There are some puzzles that are challenging enough to get you thinking. The graphics are decent and there is music, but no spoken dialog. That said, the game is real short and I was surprised how quickly I got through it. First you play a demo section with a couple of puzzles that may leave you discouraged enough to give up. After finishing those couple of puzzles you are asked to pay $2 to buy chapter 1. I don't mind paying for a good game, but they could be more up-front about it as others have left comments about it. Chapter 1 was reasonably short, I completed it in at most a couple of hours (probably less) without needing any help or walkthroughs. I could easily finish it in less than an hour having done it once. A couple of puzzles leave you confused until you figure out what they want, especially the math puzzle. I'm hoping for a lot more content in future chapters so I feel like I'm getting a good value. Hopefully the in-app purchase for chapter 1 will cover more than just that one chapter. Otherwise I will have to reconsider whether to buy additional chapters. The entire paid content so far is equivalent to the free demo of other similar games.
