The weather thing -- unbelieveable!! Enter your zip code ... so I did that, and it came back with ten results, two of which are not actually ghost towns or featureless locations. But the real town that the zip code belongs to, and which happens to be where I am, was not there.

Bought the App station speaker only to find out the volume defaults to halfway when the alarm goes off. Total ripoff. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

I bought the Groupon, as I suspect most of the people commenting did. On the speaker side, it's great, but that isn't what this review is about. Major problems with the iPhone going to sleep in the middle of the night (even though the lock screen option in the app is correctly toggled), iPhone alarm won't go off if it's plugged into the speakers, alarm volume defaults to quiet, and alarm does not go off if phone is locked (back to problem 1). The app looks cool though an is a great concept, just wish it would actually work.

You have to have a clock made by these people if you want the alarm to work. If you don't have the clock, just use the pre-installed alarms on the iPod or iPhone. If you do have the clock, use the handy volume control buttons on it to set the alarm volume, because the unconnected iPod defaults to medium volume if it isn't plugged into the clock, but seriously don't bother with this app if you aren't going to get the clock.

Not a single thing works, at all. Bought through groupon and honestly they gave me an apology from all the complaints they've received. This is absolutely a joke, these people should be ashamed of themselves. Edit: 2/8/12 says been updated, no changes. Alarm still doesn't go off right. This is junk!!!

If device didnt power off while connected to dock and the alarm sounded as intended this would be good. If plugging device into dock triggered app then it would be great.
