I liked akinator so i went to the website on ios but it gave me only 3 retrys unless i download the app so i downloaded the apl but its filled with ads because they want money ?
Wish there was a way for 0 stars.

This game used to be so cool, but now you have to pay for everything. Seriously unfair.

Akinator used to be the best game, now it’s really bad! It’s such a cash grab nowadays, you literally have to pay money to see what the Akinator guessed. Seriously? What’s the use of a robot that guesses characters of you can’t see what it guessed?

VIP characters? Seriously? This ruins the whole point of the app. They want me to pay $1.99 to know my character, completely stupid.

This app was, emphasis on WAS a really fun game for a while but recently there was an update where certain characters (nearly all of them) are considered “premium” and it gives you a few options. You can spend $1.99, some Akinator currency, which increases 20 fold each time you do it, or watch a video which never loads. It’s a real shame to see some of these classic apps descending into the pit of in app purchases, ruining them. Would not recommend downloading.

The actual app itself is fun and I would be doing it, but there are several problems. The first is the overwhelming majority of "VIP characters." It doesn't even let me see 90% of my characters without paying, and now, instead of trying to challenge the Akinator, I am simply trying to think of a character that might have a chance of not being VIP. In this game, you get rewarded for choosing more obscure characters, but not too obscure because you get nothing if you can beat Akinator. Add on top of that that when you do qualify for a prize, you need to pay money to receive it anyway because it's a VIP character. This game needs to be more focused on being fun and less about conniving us into giving our money away for something that should be free.

OK. Don’t get me wrong, I like this game. I just wish that you didn’t have to pay for VIP characters. It seems to me that almost all of the characters are VIP. It’s really annoying because it takes away the fun of seeing if he can actually guess who the character that you’re thinking about is. I don’t want to pay money to have VIP characters. That’s just my opinion. Overall, this app is pretty good.
