We just used Backline like an internal Twitter account with almost 250 team members. It allowed us to have a real time discussion that was secure. Our meeting happened in a place with only 1 bar of phone reception but since there was wifi we could still communicate even though we were spread across the country and even internationally. In fact- some of our staff were even able to participate in the chat discussion while flying over wifi - which is something they could never have done over SMS text. Plus now we have a documented record of the entire thread for administrative purposes.
Really easy to set up and use. We can now securely chat with doctor’s outside of our practice and even start conversations with patients. Also, the patient centered chat function streamlines communication around each patient which is an incredible time-saver!
Started using the app for secure communications it works very good. Messages are secure and app has alot of interesting features.
This program has been great for our company until the latest couple updates. We now get ‘reminder’ notifications immediately after the initial notification, which may be helpful if it took place later on, but is useless and irritating right after the first. Please fix this!!!
